A great looking gadget for the kitchen!Create a talking point when visitors see it...Works wonders when sealing up food, the best for portion control as well, and it saves room in the freezer rather than having to use containers, or when using cling film, that tends to unwrap.Very easy to use following the instructions. Would be good to have more bags with it, but easily obtainable..This was such a good buy for our family as we generally freeze alot and reheat a few days later.The sealer has a very commercial look and feel to it with its stainless steel finish and its sealed buttons (well designed to be easy to wipe clean).You get some bags supplied which I am advised are reusable if you clean them out, but to be honest they are not that expensive anyway and if you freeze the right things then the costs in saved food should more than make up for any outlay.Operating it is very simple - just pulse the air out to create a shrink wrapped product then apply the seal.

This vacuum sealer did not work. I got it as a gift for my husband and it does not remove any air on it's own. You have to forcefully push down with both hands to get it to actually remove the air. If you move your hands at all, it lets the air back in. It never seals on its own either. If you hit the seal button after the vacuum is running, it'll let air back in until it seals. Then you have air in the bag you just tried to vacuum seal. I've tried different meats, different length of bags, and even wider bags. This just doesn't work as it should. It came with either crumbs or dirt on it. It doesn't come with any bags, and I didn't even get a manual with it. It looks like it was a return and then re sold.

This worked great!!! Just as advertised. This is my first one and it is very easy to use and sealed perfectly and the price was great. I highly recommend it.It is slim and sleek and looks great on my kitchen counter. I am very impressed and can't wait to get some containers to use with it. I am often have far too much when it comes to meat and other products that come in bulk. Today I took every piece of meat in the freezer, cut the tops off the zip-locks, placed, for example, a chicken breast, in the vacuum seal bags, removed the air and sealed every thing in my freezer with this great little machine. It is fantastic but once again this is my first experience with this product.

Extremely poor operating instructions. Takes a surprising amount of force to lock the unit thus making it more difficult to vacuum seal the bags.

I bought this vacuum sealer for packing food items. We tend to travel quite often and packing food in boxes is time consuming and occupies space. We thought of buying vacuum sealer to pack food in covers. This vacuum seals the covers perfectly with no leakages. In this box they provided covers to use. Initially it is hard to set up the machine but the instructions made it easy. It doesn't overheat and heating shuts down when prescribed temperature is reached. In the first attempt I couldn't able to suck the air out of the covers, but after two attempts I was successful. The design looks good and easy to carry.

07/30/20 update:I’m updating this after 18 months of use. I’m looking to replace this piece of garbage with a FoodSaver brand sealer.This one now works maybe 25% of the time. It mostly seals without sucking out the air, which makes it no better than a Ziploc bag. I feel duped.Just pay more to get the premier brand and save yourself the hassle.Original review shortly after purchase:This vacuum sealer is pretty good. I’d say 80% of the time, the air doesn’t get sucked out, so you have to put the stuff into a new chunk of plastic and try again. That’s annoying and wasteful, but what can you do. I do the exact same thing every time and I learned from the instructions, so I’m reluctant to says it’s me.When it works, it’s great. I use it to repackage bulk meat from Costco and also to seal up packets to sous vide.

This is a must in any home. We buy food in bulk or on sale and try to save money doing so. However you need a great vacuum sealer to due so. I like the size of the machine. Very easy to use. Not much to it. It's not bulky its perfect size to put away under my sink. You can use any vacuum seal bags on the market with this thing, your not stuck buying one brand. So that's a plus. It also came with the hose for jars. Those need to be purchased separately and again this is universal not subject to one brand. Love the crome color to it. Very easy clean up, not a problem out of it so far. I'm very happy with my purchase. I had no problems with the seller and would buy from them again. They were very fast with the shipping and took great care with packaging my item. Very fast with the shipping and that's a bonus for me.

This has to be the worst vacuum sealer there has ever been made.At reading all directions. I was ready to start saving money. I could not get the top to open completely. One side would not release. Was not able the get the side that opened to close. I was not going to attempt trying to force the top and bottom to connect. I do not want a new/ repaired ARTSEA 2 IN 1 Automatic Vacuum Sealing. I want a full refund without any return shipping or handling charge.
