Well designed macropad with tons of customization options.
Deeply configurable on both the hardware and software side. If you build stylish custom mechanical keyboards (or want to start) this macropad is a great kit. If you work with specialized software applications and want an advanced controller without spending a ton of cash (and are willing to put in some time learning QMK to tweak the firmware) this is an even better kit. From music production to 3D modeling to livestreaming to graphic design and video editing there are opportunities to streamline your workflow. And it looks fantastic on your desk.

Main product picture is sketchy
Main product picture shows completed product, what I got was something that had to be put together. Don't buy this.

For my Engineer son-in-law.
This was suggested I purchase this for my son-in-law that is an engineer. He grinned and he would install this to use at work. Another successful purchase and gift.

Not worth the final price
Side views of some of steps would be more useful in the instructions. The knob for the rotary encoder I received did not have screw that could be tightened with a conventional screwdriver which means the fitting I have on it is loose. I wanted a fun small project, that would allow me to practice soldering a keyboard without fully committing to an expensive custom board. I came out frustrated with a functional numpad, with broken leds and a fried OLED screen. Skip the OLED not worth the hassle. This should come bundled with the faceplate. It's passable as a DIY but the instructions (which are mediocre at best) can only be accessed by a Github page (at least put it on your website) and the troubleshooting is very spare. The base kit is fine to put together, but the extra components, most of which are not mentioned at all in the instructions, or are touched in a single sentence, aren't worth the hassle and actually ruined my build. Considering how many things needed to be purchased beyond the base kit, along with piecemeal documentation (I should not have to track down an employee on reddit or discord for answers to basic questions) I would not recommend this as a project to someone not already knee deep in custom keyboarding. This was meant to be how I got into it, and I now want to tell people to just buy membrane keyboards to spare themselves the trouble.

Fun project
Works well, easy to program. Good soldering project.

No thanks
Opened it. Saw 5 dollars worth of material and no microcontroller, keys, or caps. Immediately submitted for return. This is worthless in my opinion

awesome experience
wish I could give it 6 stars. this kit is super fun to build. it can be a bit intimidating but the "customer support" is the best I've ever come across. long story short this is an amazing product made by a very helpful person, 10/10. (don't forget to order bit-c/ pro micro MCU)
