The size, ports, and color seemed perfect to work with my 2019 MacBook Pro running Catalina.Received, plugged in, pass thru charging USB-C worked, USB worked with thumb drive, but couldn't insert my SD card.After fumbling for a time and actually reading the User Manual, I set up an Amazon chat with Nikki who recommended I turn my SD card upside down (label down) and try. Huh, it worked, now I could insert my SD card.Neither the SD card or micro SD card was recognized by the Mac.The device is going to be replaced and I'll give it another try. If it is the same I'll let you and Sinstar know.UPDATE: received the replacement unit which was loose in the product box, no internal packaging, and had coffee stains on it so it was obviously a used adapter. Plugged it in and went through the checks of all the ports and everything worked fine with this one. So, cleaned it up and UPSed back the first one I received. Gave it one more star rating.

The Product is semi-sturdy and streamlined a Macbook Pro body. However my Thunderbolt monitor's Lighting adapter seems to hold issues with the extension adapter. It continues to reject the connection after a few minutes of use. I'm sure it's not specific to this particular hardware but the engineering. Unfortunately it was one of the main reasons I bought it so with that said, it's now in a drawer.

Excellent docking station, it gives you freedom since you have the option to add more USB devices, SDCards, MicroSD, HDMI, giving you the ability to connect an external monitor and the option that you can add a microSD and use it as an external hard drive connected directly to your dock without cables in between. It is real awesome to have more space available right on your dock.Is real easy to use, just plug it in and that's it. no need to install any software.

Amazing Type C adapter! I was impressed with the look and the feel of it.On opening it you can see all of the connections available which are;2 x USB-C 2 x USB 3.0SD CardMicro SD CardHDMIOnce connected to my MacBook I’ve gone through the process of testing all of the connections and each one performs as if it was standard.No additional software was required and the anything I connected just worked.I can tell no difference in data transfer rates and the video from the HDMI is perfect.I could list all of the specs in this review but they are already listed in the very detailed description so I’ll just stick to what I’ve found.Having no external wire has both positive and negatives in that you can only install it on particular models of MacBook and in 1 place. This does however mean that for the supported devices, you do get a compact product which doesn’t have a wire flapping around which you have to worry about when packing it away. You can also connect it when your MacBook is resting on your lap and it won’t be flopping down the side of your leg.

Thankfully this product allows you to have all the ports that you might use in one place. Its build quality is amazing, it is made of aluminium and you can buy it to match the colour of your MacBook. It gives you two USB-3, SD and micro SD card readers and an HDMI port that allows you to connect your computer to an external monitor. It is really simple to use as you can connect it to either side of the computer and you just start to use it. It is really portable as it's not big and extremely lightweight so you can take it anywhere you want. It is definitely a must buy!

It has replaced two other dongles. Having HDMI at one end, and the power, USB, and sim-slots on the side, keeps everything tidy and in play. And although the 'space-greys' don't entirely match, it's apparent by the cleanliness of their design that they didn't half-step in the design and production of this piece. I'm 100% satisfied with my purchase.

I want to like this a lot. The price is right and it matches the color of my Macbook Air.There's a problem where it does not read a micro-SD card about 50% of the time and I have to re-insert it at least once, sometimes 2 or 3 times until the card shows up as storage on my computer. So 4 stars instead of 5 for that annoying problem.

I had this adapter for about 2 weeks and so far, there's no problem. It works well with charging, connecting to USB, and the plus side (though not super relevant) was that it also matched really well with my space gray Mac Pro lol. One of the things I really liked about this product was the fact that it doesn't have a cable hanging off of it. When I first started looking for an adapter, I knew i didn't want one that had a cable because it just felt so clunky and dangly. This fits perfectly well to my laptop and I don't have to worry that it'll accidentally pull out if I forgot I had it connected or if I'm on the move.
