Original S.W.A.T. Men's 131201 Work Boot

This is my 8th pair, I love these things - they spend 2 years as a work boot, then another 2 years as barn boots. Light weight, strong and I have never had a zipper fail! Zipper side is great for the night time chase of coyotes going after your livestock. Well fitting and comfortable! I have size 14 wide feet. They fit great!

I ride motorcycles & I work for the US Postal Service.. For the 1st., I need a Good riding boot,,one that is comfortable & durable that allows me the safety of encountering various road conditions,,, For this purpose, these boots are EXCEPTIONAL!! For the 2nd, I need a shoe/boot that is comfortable on my feet while being on them "literally" ALL DAY LONG & working on VERY HARD "concrete like" floors,, For this purpose, these boots are EXCEPTIONAL!!! I might add that I'm Diabetic & suffer from mild "Neuropathy" in both feet,, therefore the "more" comfortable the shoe/boot, the easier it is for me to endure being on my feet ALL DAY LONG. Here (again), this boot is EXCEPTIONAL!! AND it requires NO "Breaking in" period...they are amazingly comfortable from the very first moment I put them on!! The price was so acceptable that I decided to order a 2nd pair in BLACK. You CANNOT go wrong with the purchase of these Original S.W.A.T. Boots.

Apparently I have weird feet, because I have the hardest time finding boots that fit well. I'm somewhere between a 13 and 14, and either regular or wide, depending on the manufacturer. I have a rather large box FULL of boots that didn't survive initial trials ... either too short, too tight, cause too much heal blistering, etc. I should point out that I spent over 10 years in the USAF and wore combat boots for at least 8 of those years, so I'm not boot-shy. ;) These boots fit well, and seem like a pretty good value for the money. I don't wear them all day, or 'on the job,' but for my needs they are perfect. After breaking them in doing yard work, they now sit by my bed to be quickly donned (side zipper) should something go bump in the night. For that purpose, they are PERFECT.

The Shoe is very comfortable, however I did have issues with my fit. I changed boot brands and I had to go a full size smaller with the Original Swat boots. Besides that hassle of sending boots back and ordering new ones to get the right size they are amazing boots. No break in time needed.

For inexpensive boots these fit and perform quite well. I've worn the tan ones for training and tactical work and really enjoyed them. Bought a black pair for patrol as my very nice, high end boots were just too hot this summer. I was pleased to find these boots are still of the same quality, construction and fit as my tan Original SWAT boots. The side zip is a great feature. I've never had an issue with these failing on any version of this boot I've worn.

I am in awe… and love… with this brand, lol. I’ve worked as site deco for a few big festivals and these are the first boots I have ever had that hold up to anything and everything. I wear them to work at the sheet metal shop… I wear them when I’m working out in the mountains while it’s raining… in cold, hot… they are my everyday, every obstacle shoe. I will never try anything else. Thank goodness for the military friend who mentioned this brand 👌

I really liked these boots. They were comfortable right out of the box. That being said, I had to return the first pair within a month due to the zipper breaking where the tab attaches to the zipper. Had the tab itself broken, it could have been repaired. Swat's warrantee sound's great, until their many conditions are invoked which render it worthless. A zipper should be capable of being pulled up and down. Their reasoning that I must have pulled the zipper to hard, therefore it's not covered, is lame to say the least. Luckily amazon stepped up to the plate and replaced them. It's now 7 months later, the zipper broke in the same way basically making the boots worthless, unless I want to use the laces. I am giving it two stars as the second pair did last 7 months and are still comfortable. Considering they are not worn every day, nor does my job require that I'm on my feet all day, and for the money I paid for them, would have expected them to last more than 7 months. They didn't wear out, the zipper didn't pull out, the part of the zipper that joins the two sides together physically broke,,,,,, both times, indicative of poor substandard materials. If you think this company will stand behind it's work; think again. I am now looking for another pair of boots. If you're looking for a good pair of quality boots, that will last a while, I suggest looking else where; these aren't it..

c'est chaussures sont légère et agréable à porter, maintiennent bien la cheville. Par contre elle sont un peut raide. je les conseilles à tous

Product quality is quite good. However, the product description is incorrect. Ordered twice (including replacement), however, both the times TAN colour has been delivered instead of BLACK (as mentioned in product description). The same needs to be corrected.
