These are the best hot dogs you can buy on Amazon, I know because I tried them all...
I bought beef hotdogs of every single brand on Amazon, including BOTH nathans they sell here and literally EVERY SINGLE Hebrew national kind... This is how they stack up These hotdogs > (Every 2+ but under 3oz Hebrew national, except uncured...) > 3oz hebrew national > 4 oz Hebrew national > 1.5oz Nathans AND uncured hebrew national.... Everything else was garbage, ballpark bleh, oscar Meyer was the ABSOLUTE WORST UNEDIBLE... the "beef hot links" by Hillshire farm were good but under everything mentioned above... sometimes they are dirt cheap for like $2 I will get those every time... The real issue though is Nathan's just taste's better, buns the Arnold Potatoe is good but Nature's own Brioche + this hotdog for $1.50 price ($1 hotdog ~.50 cent bread) costs what you might pay at a ball game. Every other bun I try that comes in 8 and is cheaper tastes like cardboard... For hotdogs the seasoning isn't as crazy and depending how you do them the cook might not be perfect (pan fried with butter or oil for me only) but these are the best hot dog... Despite Nathan's tasting better the 1.5oz is not enough, it's ok to make someone a true believer if they eat a few hotdogs but after a dozen, you just taste bread... With these, there is near the perfect amount of meat, and you get that AMAZING Nathan's aftertaste, if you like more intense flavor and having it up front try Hebrew National, would still eat them any day, but they aren't beating this... These are the best hotdogs and as much as I want to keep them a secret as they keep going out of stock I am here to spread the word hoping Nathan's realizes this is what people want and starts spitting them out as quickly as they can make them... Bit on the expensive side but if I am taking my time to cook them that time to cut an onion, or prep some chili and wait for them to finish is worth more than the $1 I will save going with cheap. I prefer for my time to be well spent.
