Casio G-Shock Analog-Digital Black Dial Men's Watch - GBA-800-1ADR (G827)

Always wanted to own a G-Shock and after researching a lot, finally decided to purchase this one.Reasons:Slick design, not too big on hands, in fact it is very comfortableThe led lighting system is one of the best among various G-Shock watches. Clear visibility of both Analog and Digital Dials and NumbersStep Tracker - I just needed a basic sturdy, durable and good designed watch and not so much of a fitness watch. For that you can go with other smartwatches available in the market. But all in all it does have a decent fitness tracking system enabled by Bluetooth (not for fitness freaks though).Note - if you have bought this, the steps are updated and synced in the system every 30 minutes so don't think the watch is inaccurate, it will update your steps at 30 minutes interval after syncing again.Other Reasons - It is a G-Shock so I don't have to worry about its durability and it is water resistant as well. With other high-end watches you cannot afford that sort of durability. Plus the Battery life is a plus.

The media could not be loaded. The watch is fantastic. My brother was a bit skeptical about the purchase as this is a 3 year old model. The features it offers, the look and the comfort of wearing beat everything else.With the app it's now easier to adjust the watch and see the progress made.Well done, Casio!

Awesome quality

Good watch for rough use.

A great watch for a great price. Best thing about it is that the hands are in contrast to the dial so it's very easy to check the time. Also, it has an interval timer which most g-shocks don't have. Step tracker is the unique feature to this watch. As the dial is on the smaller side so it's best for people with thinner wrists. The super illumination is amazing and it has also got the glow in the dark hands.Only shortcomings are, there is no snooze alarm although 5 normal and hourly signal is present. Instead of world time, it has dual time but the dual time is configurable to more than 300 cities through app. Also the g-shock mobile app has a lot of bugs and needs updation

The box was not sealed and neat. It was like someone had opened it and then manually packed it again in a haste. The manual was all crumbled. The details said that i'd have to remove the plastic from the crown to start the watch, but there was no such thing. The glass had smudges on it. All in all, it looked like a used watch. I didn't feel that I was unboxing an inr 8k watch. The product was genuine, no doubt. However, I have doubts if it was brand new. Anyway, I did open the packaging and tried to turn the bluetooth on but I failed. I thought I'm doing something wrong so I even swarmed with Casio customer care but in vain. So yeah, looks like either the battery is dead or the watch is faulty right off the bat. Anyway, I have now ordered a replacement. The time where Indian consumer would settle or negotiate even if he is spending a ton of money for a below average unboxing or product experience is gone. In these current pandemic times, while buying directly from a showroom is not possible, but if I'm spending equal amount of money and on top of that I am a prime member, I expect to have a genuine buying experience.

I ordered this watch and the next day, i was wearing it.The watch is excellent. The Bluetooth connectivity makes it so much easier to handle. Ability to set the time, illumination functions, set alarms and check your steps using the Bluetooth app is quite handy.If you are thinking to buy a g shock, i think you should definitely consider it.

Looks are good. Gives an all black stealthy kind of look. White hour and minutes hand give good contrast to see the time more clearly. Dual LED gives good illumination for seeing in dark, built is robust as expected from g shock, dial dimensions are small, so perfect for small wrists, BUT, steps tracker is outrageous, it's highly inaccurate, if you are taking the watch for steps tracking then don't buy, the g shock connected app is just trash, didn't even open on my OnePlus 5. And considering the price I feel it's not a bang for your buck kind of deal..

This watch looks great in the pictures, however watch display is very deceiving. Light is poor, thank goodness for the white 'watch hands' otherwise you could not tell the time. The digital display and light is a joke, you truly need a magnifying glass to determine the time. I bought this as a gift, I'm actually quiet embarrassed to gift this purchase.Sorry Casio, or the middle man, not only was the packaging disgraceful it was thrown together as if it had been re-opened and placed manually back together. However Amazon delivered on time and has never disappointed me.
