Milestone Deliverables: ERP Project Management Methodology

Worth 5x the price
This is a great book. Worth five times the pro ce IMHO. Clear roadmap on implementation phases timing and reasons. Only slight errata (I would suggest) is showing additional training before the DP stage in the project overview. It “seems” expensive: Don’t hesitate to buy it. I wasted several hundred dollars and many hours I will never get back on other sub-standard texts.

Great Book - Very Informative!
This book is amazing so much so that I was ecstatic to find it in a digital version so I can travel with it, it takes the impossible task of ERP implementation and breaks it into smaller more manageable deliverables. One of the best parts of the book is the “emotional curve picture” and although it is simple is shows what to expect from an ERP implementation from every aspect including - emotional

I use the Milestone Deliverables process on every project I lead or support.
I've been working with enterprise level systems implementation projects for many years, and this book provides the most concise and effective guide I have seen. As someone who has implemented many different ERP systems, it's clear that this methodology pulls from best and proven practices across industries and business models, and also serves as testimony to many successful years implementing complex systems.

... Peter Gross in the past on ERP implementations to great success. I am not a fulltime project manager ...
I have worked with Peter Gross in the past on ERP implementations to great success. I am not a fulltime project manager so when I saw this book, I knew it was one book I needed in my technical library. To have all Peter’s knowledge and experience documented in one place is an incredible find. This is as close to a “How to” manual that you will find for such a complicated process. The forms and templates he includes (from budget the project to mapping, managing and testing) breakdown and simplify a very large and complex processes in to manageable tasks. The detailed examples are clear and very applicable to any ERP implementation. Anyone who is starring down the barrel of an ERP system implementation should really take the time to read this book.

Concise and practical!
Very practical contents, breaking down a complex project into phases, milestones, and activities. This helped paint a crystal clear map of a complex project guided us through some challenging situations.
