Quality and variety
Great quality knitting looms. I have several. The pins are closer together for tighter knit stitches. Comes with 1 long loom and 5 round looms all close together. Comes with hook and needle. Comes in nice plastic zipper pouch for storage. Worth every penny spent. Different size looms for different size projects.

For those tight knit projects with thinner yarn.
I will start by saying I do not recommend this for absolute beginners. The pegs are very close together and might be frustrating for new knitters. Start out with the basic set. (I use Readaeer Round Knitting Looms Set for large yarns weight 5+)Now this loom set (ALIMELT) is exactly what I needed. I make hats and scarves for family and friends, but found using the medium and lightweight yarn on my larger peg looms did not give me the tight look we sought. This loom set does!It has double the usual peg number, making for a tighter weave. I didn’t photograph my hat I made with it, it is already on the recipient’s head haha. But it was excitedly accepted! I’m quite pleased with the looms!Shipped:•Arrived within two days, bound in plastic and plastic wrap, super sturdy.•Nothing chipped, broken or loose. What you get in this bundle:•Full set of round looms, including a tiny flower loom•A good sized rectangular loom•extra pegs (the pegs are removable but admittedly I am too chicken to try it)•several loom hooks, ergonomic ones with the grips AND some chubby little plastic ones.•Several plastic yarn needles (the kind with an eye)Word of caution:Don’t wind your yarn too tightly on the Looms. I assume since the pegs are technically removable they may pop or snap under heavy tension. I heard a creek and didn’t want to chance it.Have fun! Happy knitting!

Overall good set for small gauge looms
This is a good small gauge set of looms. I like that it includes 5 round looms n a long rectangle loom. I like the rounded bases which are comfortable to hold. I also like the shape of the head of the pegs that helps keep the yarn from slipping off from the inside n the outside of the peg. I have never used the shorter ball type pick but I really like the way it fits in the palm of my hand n adds leverage to move the yarn over the peg. I wish the yarn pen tool was small enough to fit between the pegs as this tool is invaluable in saving time. However I figured out a way to hold the loom on its side so I could easily wind the yarn on the pegs. I will try to find a thinner pen tool or make one out of a thinner pen. Overall this set saved me almost $30 over the cost of more popular well-known brand. Like others, I wanted a small gauge loom set so I could use #4 weight yarn which is more economical n widely available in lots of colors n materials. I like receiving the pictures of suggested projects and links to the patterns n receiving printed graphic instructions to change the number of pegs. It’s a keeper for me.

I am a beginner learning how to loom knit
I bought this set to take on a cruise and I am so glad! I am having fun learning how to do this. I can sit and watch the ocean and do some loom knitting. Very peaceful! I highly recommend this set. The best thing I have done know to learn how do this is watch YouTube videos. Watch a few different ones, so you can decide which way you want to do your loom knitting. I suggest that you make screen recording of the videos, then you can watch when you aren't connected to the internet. VERY HELPFUL! ❤️

Good and bad points. Give it a 3.
Purchased this set to make hats for charity (I.e. Warm Up America). Have been knitting and crocheting since I was a child (now retired) and purchased my first knitting loom when they became available. My hands are getting stiff and it’s getting harder to knit the crowns of hats. I’ve made combination knit/crochet hats, but don’t really like the way they look.I’ve never liked having to use double strands of worsted weight yarn for hats (looms) and I’ve not jumped on the bulky weight trend that seems so common now.Discovered this set a few days before I ordered it. Was concerned that I couldn’t seem to find out how far between the center points of the pegs (3/8”) and didn’t like that the set includes so many “extra” pieces. 8 picks really does seem like overkill in my mind. I was also concerned about so many reviews mentioning problems keeping pegs in their holes. But I decided to take the plunge. All of the pegs were in their holes when the set arrived, and I’ve used two of the looms so far without that issue. All eight of the picks are short and skinny. I can’t use any of them. Will donate them to an organization offering beginner classes in looming. (Over the years I’ve collected good for me substitutes.) The size of the peg heads means that I’m having to retrain my hand movements while knitting off the yarn. The pegs are the sturdy style of the original looms, not the skinny ones on the CinDWood looms with this same space between. However, the inside grove—for the picks—of all of these are extremely rough. It hasn’t affected the yarn because it’s in the grove, but it’s really disconcerting; on some pegs the tip of the peg literally seems to get stuck in some of the skinnier, deeper holes. Again, I’m working on hand movement to see if this helps. And I’ve used my Emory board to file down some “stickey-outies” on some of the peg heads. The crochet hook is a 5.0 mm. Not sure what the seller intended one to use this for. Inside a bag with one of the picks is a very small crochet hook-like piece. Am guessing that this is to help when the working yarn accidentally comes off the peg - to help place it back. I haven’t tried that yet.One of the working pegs is directly behind the anchor peg; not one working peg on each side of the anchor pegs like all of the other looms I now or have previously owned. This makes it difficult to wrap and knit the yarn off of that peg. Plus it’s sometimes difficult to determine if that peg is the first one wrapped or the last one wrapped. The stitch markers are so large that it’s too easy to catch with the pick and slide it off. I’ve tried some smaller ones in my bag - they don’t slide over the head of the peg. It’s an okay first-offering product. Some of the things that bother me probably won’t bother first-time purchasers. Some things I’m working over or through may be really annoying to others.

Lots for your money!
This is a good deal but the pegs are very close together. That is what I wanted just be sure you see that before you order. I am making a runner for my table so it will look great. You get a lot of things included that you will use.
