I used to have a Behringer, which only lasted about 6 years and gradually degraded until it did not work at all, so I won't by Behringer again until their quality gets better. In summary the Alesis has exceeded my expectations and would recommend this for the home recordist. I downsized from the Multimix 4 to a two-channel mixer, basically used for my audio book recordings. If memory serves me correctly, this does offer 2 track in/out via the bus (stereo, of course). Also comes with Steinberg Software. The only problem with it is the registration of the software did not work properly so I have only a trial period to use it. I have read others had a similar problem.
