I haven’t tried this particular soap bought from amazon yet however dove soap is not new to me. I have been using dove for years. I tried using most of other brands before, and they were not delicate enough to use on your private parts. So when I finally bought and tried dove, I never bought any other brand any more. Dove is good for body, face, private parts. I expect this soap to be the same.I am writing this review because of some unexpected benefits that i am super happy about. This soap have kind of strong smell. When it arrived I unpacked the soap from the plastic cover and put soaps in cardboard boxes in the bathroom closet. In the same closet we keep our laundry hamper. Since the beginning of the school year we were struggling with the smell of the stinky socks. One of my kids do cross country running and after practice the smell of the socks was unbearable. I have never encountered this type of smell before. But of course the socks were put in the hamper in the closet. I must admit it was scary for me to open the closet and i had to hold onto the wall when opening the door because the smell was so powerful that it could knock you unconscious. I tried to kill the smell by putting essential oils on the cotton round in the closet, but it wasn’t working. So now i have to tell you all, that this soap in the closet effectively killed that awful smell. I even called the other family members to check with them if they still smell the socks or no, and we all agreed that the soap did what we thought was impossible.I highly recommended this soap for washing face, body , private parts and also for scenting closed spaces like closets and cupboards.

You can smell the soap while it sits in the shower waiting for its next victim.My skin feels soft and moisturized after having my nice hot shower. The soap lathers up very nicely and is so refreshing. I use a special soap for my face but would not hesitate to use DOVE on my face also. It is dermatologist recommended. The bar fits nicely in your hand. I also noticed that one bar lasts a long time. I also love the green color!If your skin is on the dry side, try DOVE BEAUTY BAR. You will love the scent and there are also other scents available. DOVE has been around a long time and is a new staple in my home. Another plus? Made in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. So important!

I clicked "buy again" and didn't read the description. Seems the bars shrunk from 4 ounces to 3.75, effectively removing one bar of soap from the package of 16 bars. :(

This stuff is good general purpose soap. It does not leave skin feeling dry whatsoever. This is the first soap that does not have that squeaky feeling on the skin when washed off--leaving the skin dry. It seems to hydrate pretty well. The smell is pretty neutral. It does not smell perfume-like. I found my skins especially dry this summer (usually it's just winter) and there was no Dove Winter Care bar soap to be found at a reasonable price so I decided to hunt around for something to tide me over until I could buy some. This soap is okay, my skin was still pretty dry so while it may be better than regular bar soaps, it's not a standout moisturizing soap. In my experience Dove Pink did a slightly better job, but Irish Spring Moisture Blast does a significantly better job. The Irish Spring has quite a strong scent, though, so it may or may not be for you. For people with dry skin, I would suggest stocking up on Dove Winter Care when it's available so it will last you a whole year before you have to stock up again.

This Dove cool moisture beauty bar is just like the white beauty bar, but with the scent added. It basically has a similar smell as the plug-in air fresheners. I've got issues with my skin and this works great to keep my skin soft. There is an added benefit ...(sorry men)... Ok ladies, we all know that cleaning a (ahem)certain area with some soaps/body washes can... well, hurt really bad. This beauty bar definitely won't cause that pain. Plus, it's a great deal... especially compared to a body wash. I mean, one bar lasts a good amount of time. The one thing that I really don't care for though is it can be messy. I never know what to do with the bar after each use. So, even for that, it's definitely worth it to purchase this soap.

Ok, first off, I'm a dude. A very manly dude. The perfume scented soaps are for girls or less manly men. I also have psoriasis. I've tried all the moisturizing soaps on the market I think. I really like this soap. It's got a nice CLEAN scent, not perfumy. It's doesn't leave a film and it doesn't dry me out. Everyone has different tastes, not everyone's body responds the same to certain products. I will definitely reorder this soap.

I usually get eczema from a number of hand washing products irritating my skin, so I am always having to be picky with what I wash my hands with, or suffer the itching and burning. Due to the pandemic, a lot of soap was out of stock and I didn't want to waste money, but this ended up being a great buy! I have soap stocked for a while now, and my hands are irritant free, AND surprisingly soft!
