Review: Best quality oil for the price ! - I have been using Pompeian USDA Smooth Extra Virgin Olive Oil for a few years now, never had any problems with it. It is great for cooking anything, including frying meats and veggies. No strong unwanted flavors, no excesive smoke when frying either. It is recommended to use the "Smooth" type for frying, but I never had any issues frying with the regular version. Recently, as a healthier option, I switched to Organic for just a few dollars more which is not that much more expensive. A great price for a NON-seed oil, Organic, Smooth, Extra Virgin and First Cold Pressed. The "Smooth" one is in particular recommended for frying. For the average folks, interested in a healthier cooking oil, at a great price, THIS is the best oil as quality and price. If you are lucky you can find this oil in the stores at a much higher price. I know there are those that are looking for a single source, such as the oil coming from one single country and manufacturer, sold in glass bottles, but this oil is the most affordable you can get with these characteristics mentioned above. **Q: Does this product come in glass or plastic containers?**
A: Very thick green plastic so the oil protects from light. I read about it and glass is not always good for olive oil and the green color helps a lot to keep the oil fresh and it is a very solid container 
It is also safer at transportation and in the kitchen...  not sure I would like to have glass container deliver

**Q: Are the bottles BPA free?**
A: Yes, they are made of BPA-free polyethylene.

**Q: does this product require refrigeration?**
A: No it doesn't. At least I've never refrigerated mine.

I have been using Pompeian USDA Smooth Extra Virgin Olive Oil for a few years now, never had any problems with it. It is great for cooking anything, including frying meats and veggies. No strong unwanted flavors, no excesive smoke when frying either. It is recommended to use the "Smooth" type for frying, but I never had any issues frying with the regular version. Recently, as a healthier option, I switched to Organic for just a few dollars more which is not that much more expensive. A great price for a NON-seed oil, Organic, Smooth, Extra Virgin and First Cold Pressed. The "Smooth" one is in particular recommended for frying. For the average folks, interested in a healthier cooking oil, at a great price, THIS is the best oil as quality and price. If you are lucky you can find this oil in the stores at a much higher price. I have been using Pompeian Smooth Extra Virgin Olive Oil Contains Polyphenols First Cold Pressed for years and it stands out as one of the most reliable and tasty options I keep coming back to especially for everyday family cooking. This oil is truly versatile and consistently good. It works perfectly for sauteing roasting grilling drizzling on salads dipping with bread or even finishing dishes. The smooth mild flavor profile has a nice fruity note with just enough peppery kick from the polyphenols without being overly bitter or harsh like some stronger EVOOs can get.
