Chessnut Move – Robotic Chessboard with Plastic Pieces, Self-Moving Pieces Simultaneously, Full Piece Recognition, Built-in Chess Engine, Voice Control & Video Integration

Bought this because I decided to return to an old hobby long forgotten. Living alone and not wanting to either embarrass myself or seek others, the computerized board, self-moving pieces and 8 levels of difficulty make this ideal for spontaneous or round-the-clock playing. So far, both the board and individual pieces work fine, and they were well packaged and came with easy instructions.

Watching the pieces move on their own is definitely my favorite part. There’s just something really satisfying about it. Sometimes I get a little distracted watching them and forget I’m supposed to be thinking about my next move! Really fun to see in person.

They are horrible. The board came with multiple pieces not working. Since its fulfilled by amazon, the only option is to return the board, and possiblyrebuy it at a higher price. Trued to work it out with the manufacturer (in china) which is terrible. instead of focusing on remedying my problem they're trying to use me to diagnose their suppy problems in amazon or wherever having me go back and forth in email across their timezone (like 3am) instead of just sending working pieces. The app that comes for it, from the play store is pure crap, buggy as heck and asks for firmware updates FREQUENTLY, with no discernible improvement in quality. you have to use something like chessconnect to make it work better. But if you play online, you can't play the faster games because the pieces don't move that fast. and sometimes the pieces get stuck in loops sitting there spinning looking stupid. i had another issue with trying to buy the board from the manufacturer. Direct, and they took my money. It had me wait almost 2 months and then told me that it wasn't available. made me think that they were taking a lot of pre-orders and using that money to invest in getting the inventory up and because it was a lower price kept you at low priority and then return your money after they utilize it to get their inventory up. i seriously suggest making a calendar event for the countdown to return It back to Amazon. And when it gets close to that 30 day return window assess any issues or problems and decide whether you want to go further As they might work out the bugs later, but this is a year later, after they came out with it. And the situation isn't any better.

I’m honestly so impressed with this chessboard! The pieces move on their own, which is such a cool feature. The board is also very well made and feels sturdy and nicely weighted when you pick it up. My son loves playing chess, but it’s not always easy for him to find someone to play with. Now he can play by himself and still have an opponent that makes moves automatically. It’s been such a convenient and fun way for him to practice. I got this as a back-to-school gift for him, and I think it was a great choice. He was really excited about it, and it’s definitely something he can enjoy for a long time. Highly recommend it for kids who love chess!

Very nice chess set, performance is excellent great for playing friends on line and solving chess puzzles!!

Awesome 👌 You can finish a game three days later even if your opponent is in church.

Absolutely fabulous Exceeded all expectations

Is the board great - Yes! Did the 1st board I received work - No. Did I get the board on time- No. The experience from ordering the board to receiving it was really frustrating. Purely due to the poor communication. The product itself is amazing.

Me gustó mucho.

This is absolutely incredible and works as advertised. The whole family enjoys it and I'm able to play with my son and grandsons.

Absolutamente recomendable aunque cueste algo caro. La compra merece la pena.
