If you have loved the Call of Duty games so far, this won't be much different.
Say what you want about Call of Duty, it is repetitive, the audience sucks, no inventiveness, etc etc etcโฆ Me personally, I love playing Call of Duty. I have been playing it since Modern Warfare 2 was hailed as the epitome of multiplayer gaming, and haven't wanted to stop since. Now, I never got into waiting dreadfully long hours in front of game stop to be the first person to buy the game, but I own or have owned them all at some point or another. I have been ridiculed many times for playing CoD, but if you enjoy doing something, why stop? You can criticize whatever you want about any point or factor of this game, but the bottom line is, if you enjoy playing Call of Duty, you will enjoy playing CoD: Advanced Warfare. Campaign: I thoroughly enjoyed playing the campaign. It was relatively straight forward as the rest of them are, and the storyline was extremely easy to follow. There were a lot of similarities in this campaign compared to the past campaigns of earlier games, but that didn't lessen the excitement any. Everything ran smoothly on my 360, no glitches that I was aware of, and it looked great. Multiplayer: This is where some negatives come in. Playing multiplayer matches in CoD has always had its ups and downs. There is not a very high level of team working togetherness in randomly assembled matches, so most people tend to just fend for themselves in most of the gameplay. There is a wide variety of skill shown by those you play with, and each match is completely different. You can see people dominate one match, then snuff out the next. Multiplayer is where I found most of the lag and glitchiness in my playing, but that has everything to do with the fact that I am running a next gen game on a past gen console. It wasn't really meant to run on the 360, but yet they still made it work pretty well. I enjoy the way some of the maps change mid match, from volcanoes going off to crumbling buildings. It adds some awesome dimensions, especially with the added jumping height. The guns are great, and the damage is for the most part realistic. In closing, I want to reaffirm that I enjoy playing this game, and would recommend it to all those who have enjoyed playing CoD in the past.

Cant go wrong with CoD!
Big fan of the CoD series. This one is pretty cool as it lets you use high tech weaponry; somewhat futuristic. Story line is good but easily beatable. Online multiplayer mode is probably the best feature of this game as Campaign mode seems to lack and is quite short. Online maps are good, some are great, and some are annoying. The most "annoying" feature is probably the ability to boost-jump while in online play. It makes it hard at first (if you're not used to it) to take down a player as they're practically flying around. But once you get used to that "feature" of game-play it starts to become fun again! I would recommend this to others as it's a good time killer and stress reliever

There were a few hiccups in the campaign where there was some pretty stupid objectives where you didn't have a chance (i.e. shoot this tank with a missile launcher while your team "covers you"; AKA while your team dances with enemies next to you as they beat you down). Although those were pretty annoying, the campaign was still fun. There wasn't as much high tech gear to play with in the campaign as I thought there would be, however, and I probably enjoyed the Ghosts campaign a little more. As for multiplayer, it's mostly great. There are a few tweaks such as non-universal statistics (K/D and such is separate for each game mode), score streaks are customizable (add perks to them, but at a penalty of requiring more score to achieve - including making some score streaks persist through death for a significant penalty - great for players like myself who generally maintain a good, positive K/D but do not go on long streaks). The exo movement, though it took some getting used to, began to feel very natural and fun. And for those of you who would prefer to not use it, there are separate playlists with exo movement turned off, including TDM, and 3 others (I believe they are Kill Confirmed, S&D, and maybe Domination, but do not quote me on that)! There are a few new game modes, including a Capture The Flag I haven't tried much, and Uplink - a basketball type game where you have a neutral "satellite" that can be picked up, turning you into a juggernaut with melee only, and must be thrown or otherwise passed through the enemy's goal. Quite fun. There is, of course, a good amount of new gear to play with, though again, it doesn't feel quite as high-tech as they may have had you believe. In multiplayer, there is also an annoying, in your face cosmetic system, where you often receive some random cosmetic pieces, many of which are on a timer before they disappear. You can turn them in for xp, but only one at a time, and the whole thing seems pretty tedious. Though this may be something amazing for a player who loves outfitting in different sorts of looks.

Great Game. Small Problems.
I love the story. It was almost as good as Black ops 2's story...almost. The Multiplayer is great when playing locally BUT When playing Online their are some minor to major lag issues. Ex. If u see an enemy with their back facing u and u think tht u can sneak up on them. So U do and shoot at them BUT u die instead. It shows in the Killcam tht the enemy was facing me the entire time. It gets tiresome time to time but It never really happened to me too much. It's a great game overall but the new movement system(jumping, hovering and side dashing) do take some getting used to but once u do get used it, it's a pretty good game. Feels like it kept wht was great about Black ops 2 and Ghosts multiplayer but it still has some issues and I find those issues very minor to me. The only thing I really complain about is tht it doesn't already hav a zombie mode in it. I hav to get it on the 1st dlc tht comes out. :/ Kinda sucks. I wish they added one map on there to hold me over until the dlcs come out.

Total Delight!
If you're into high-tech warfare and love playing campaign then this game is for you! This game totally blew the other COD games out of the water and to be quite honest it reminds me of TC's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier as well as COD Black Ops 2. The weapons, gameplay, audio quality, intense graphics as well as the storyline were so awesome! Don't believe the negativity associated with this game, just do yourself a favor a get it already because it totally deserves the Game of the Year award! ๐๐

Same as usual, but Zombies keep the game alive.
I've played so many Call of Duty games that the genre and series has become a little boring. The campaign storyline is good and overall game play is consistent. I'm happy to have something new to play but it no longer dominates my life like it used to, which is a good thing according to the wife. Buy it if you are a fan of FPS games or COD games. Or better yet, buy it used or rent it for the campaign. Update: 3/30/15 Zombie play didn't exist when the game first released. I like the new Zombies as the game play is more straightforward and hence easier. The problem with the older zombie maps prior was that there were too many puzzles to unravel, making staying alive too difficult. Those kinds of game skills (puzzle solving) are reserved for the young (25 yrs or under). Us older players just want to find a weapon and shoot, reload, shoot again, otherwise it becomes a challenge for my old brain. Just my opinion and echoed by my similar aged friends playing Zombies. Getting the Map Pack for zombies does add additional cost to the game. I don't play multi-player anymore (the lag is real) but instead opt for Zombies only.

Good but could have been better
It came in time, the day before christmas. Its a good game, I enjoyed the campaign or at least the first few levels. The multiplayer is pretty great but the exo survival mode seems pointless. Instead they should have added exo zombies instead of exo survival. It probably would have been added if they would have taken there time and its true based on how much dlc has been released within the first few months from its release.

the game was in perfect condition when i got it
With all criticism towards the game itself, the game was in perfect condition when i got it. The discs were scratchless. It came a day earlier than it said it would. Its also a bit cheaper to get this than to buy it off of the xbox store. Sure it's easier to buy it off of there, but I personally would rather wait a little longer and save a couple bucks in the process. Now as for the game, sure it's not the greatest CoD ever, but i personally enjoy it. Some may say it's a disgrace to the CoD name, sure, it probably is. I find it enjoyable. I recommend buying it off of amazon from this seller than buying it off of the xbox store if you dont mind waiting a little and saving a couple of bucks in the process.

Brother loves it
In 2015, I bought this for my brother. He was a big fan of the CoD series at the time, and he thoroughly enjoyed this game. Personally, I still think MW2 and maybe even Black Ops were the best CoD games out there.

Awesome multiplayer, but it really blows how much content is an additional charge on the Season Pass. i.e. the zombie mode, most multiplayer maps, etc. At least they make up for that by having a fairly engaging first player campaign, that I found surprisingly long for a Call Of Duty game. Certainly a better first person campaign then what was provided in Ghosts. Still fairly easy to complete on the medium difficulty settings, and still damn near impossible or rather time consuming to beat on Veteran. But hey, at least the achievements for beating the games story mode aren't all glitched like they are on Battlefield 4. If you are a Call of Duty fan this is a good game in the series. If you are new to Call of Duty, this game provides a good entry point as it is more or less a stand alone story.

Product was most likely used but FLAWLESS
It showed up in a box but unwrapped...so most likely pre-owned...which is fine for the price. game is so-so....why do they insist in making so many frikin' 5 minute cut-scenes.....WORSE than blackops.. BUT there is a fun component and I enjoyed it.
