Superb gadget especially for anyone with children/grandchildren. Cheaper after making a few than buying from stalls/shops etc. So easy to make, so easy to clean. Some people have written its difficult to clean. No. Science/baking lesson...What happens to sugar when on contact with water..? It melts. DO NOT SCRAPE to get it clean. This will damage the heating area thus quickly breaking the machine. Take out the centre piece, place into water, couple of minutes after wipe as you do normal pot washing. Clean as new. Using a cloth that I kept wetting using hand hot water, squeeze then wipe over the stuck candy that's occurred on the base. May take a while depending how much is stuck on but eventually like new. I have taken midway to finish pictures (forgotten to picture the whole mess at the start, duh me). Overall..cheap after a few batches, you've literally got your money back and more. Easy to clean. Many flavours with taste. Put into tubs for a later treat. Definitely recommend this product.

Really great product, it can be tricky at first so make sure you read the instructions but once you get the hang of it it’s easy enough. Can be a pain to clean

Bought as a gift. Works really well. Easy to use, even by kids. Not that easy to clean but still manageable. Kids had a lot of fun making candy floss.

To buy the right sugar, I ended up buying actual candy floss!!!! But the machine is great, good value, hope my great granddaughter feels the same

quite compact, ok for family of 4 use, lots of fun for my girls. you can make 5 cotton candies and need to wait to cool down, but it's not a big issue

Overheated and broke after 1 candy floss. Tried to return and I’m going around in circles

The candyfloss maker we received works, following the instructions carefully, although it takes a lot longer than 5 minutes to heat up enough for the candyfloss to be created (maybe 8 or 9 minutes). However, the bowl and base are both plastic and the way they clip together is not secure enough. As the plastic warms up I guess it expands slightly because by the time we are making the second or third portion the bowl no longer fits into the groove and it begins to rattle around the base- at one point my daughter said it fell down and sent sugar flying. Operating the device is now a 2-person job with one to make the candyfloss and another to hold the bowl in position. I contacted the supplier via their website but have received no response so far. I think we will keep the machine and possibly gaffa-tape the bowl on each time we use it, but with hindsight I wish I'd paid a little more for a better-known brand.
