Very good quality product and an weather proof cover, BONUS!
Very happy with this product. It arrived quickly and well packaged. So easy to enter your own personal number.I installed it in minutes, set a new combination number, had 2 new keys cut to go inside and now feel a lot more secure than the previous way I hid the spare keys.I installed the unit in a way that no one can get to the sides and rip it off the wall with a crow bar. The safe has 4 drill holes and if installed correctly is extremely well secured to the wall (it will take a lot to prize this thing off the wall. There is an weather protector cover on the front which just peels away and hangs down to allow access to the unit itself when you need keys from it. The front of the key safe is cleverly designed so no one can try to get in the front of it without an combination. The unit looks and feels extremely tough to get into without the correct sequence of numbers. The numbers roll very smoothly and the manufacturer recommends you roll the numbers regularly to make sure the unit works correctly every time. The weather protector on the front will probably help keep the unit working correctly as well.Overall I really like this product. I have 2 keys inside but you could store more, maybe 6 or more although I have not tried more than 2 yet. Just watch you don’t jam it up if you put too many keys inside. The instruction with the safe are so easy to follow. If you read everything it explains how to correctly align the numbers when setting a new code, so that you don’t jam the unit or set the numbers incorrectly. It even advises on the way to look after the unit.Great product!

Good product, could do with a hook
Easy to install, good safe. Only lost a star as I thought there was a hook to hang the key and unless I've completely missed it, there isn't.

Neat, well made key box with an excellent rubber cover. Good buy
I needed a combination lock wall mounted key box for my brother's home to provide access for carers in an emergency.I didn't want to advertise the fact of a key box at his front door, so deliberately chose this box because of the plain black rubber cover which covers the front of the box completely. This is a well made key box. it closes solidly and the combination wheels have a solid click as they move between numbers. Changing the combination by means of a small lever in the back of the door couldn't be easier. It's not possible to shift it accidentally. It needs to be deliberately moved to the side and up to change the combination settings. The back of the box has 4 holes for fixing to the wall. It comes with screws and wall plugs, but I thought the screws rather short so replaced them with longer one to really secure to the wall.In place it is neat and the front rubber cover makes it look like a small meter box rather than its intended purpose. It will hold a couple of standard sized latch keys easily. There are no hooks inside so I attached one of those little 3M adhesive hooks people use for decorations to the inside. Problem solved. My brother now has peace of mind.Very good item indeed. Highly recommended.Hope this helps

Strong, solid, well-made safe
It looks a strong, solid, well-made safe. Easy to set the combination but do remember it or statistically you'll be trying 5000 combinations before you get in. The outer cover, as well as keeping the weather off, means that it doesn't obviously look like a key safe - better than those with the key pad on display which sort of draw attention to themselves. It's fixed to the wall with 4 screws. Use a 5.5mm masonry bit for the supplied wall plugs - I started with a 6mm bit but it was a bit too big and would have left the plugs loose. The safe claims to have a "large storage space". Well, it was smaller than I was expecting but generally key safes are really small inside so maybe "large" is relative. I've put two sets of keys in mine, each with two keys, and there is room for more.Very pleased with it. Recommended.

Very sturdy with waterproof cover .....
I have purchased this item for my daughter as she had locked herself out several times. My husband is fitting it as we speak. Its well made and sturdy, weatherpoof with a rubber cover over the front. Very straighforward to set up the code and its discreet as well. would recommend to anyone for peace of mind, great value for money as well.

Simple to install but fell apart within months.
Simple to install but absolutely rubbish quality. Fell apart with a 6 months. Ours was located in a sheltered position and used to keep the shed keys in. Despite this, the front fell off completely. If you look at the pictures you can see the really poor build quality. Virtually no spreading of the pins holding the front to the back plate. Cheap enough to not worry about returning as I certainly didn’t want a replacement. My advice..... if you want a fit-for-purpose key-safe AVOID and get another brand instead. Please note that this review was unable to be submitted earlier as for some “strange” reason, Amazon had halted reviews of this product.

Seems great
I had my joiner install this - but only for storage of a key for the gate padlocks as not keen on having house keys in it. He said he'd heard of people having this type of thing (not this make) jemmied off the wall and then hammered open. Concealed it down the side of the house, behind a drainpipe, and it was installed in a couple of minutes (although he used his own screws as he said the ones supplied were fairly cheap).I had it on my desk for a few days and kept trying the combination and opening it up and it seems to work ok. Have photographed my combination, as recommended. One of those things that you don't use every day and so only time will tell if all goes well with it. So far, so good.
