The Velcro elastic bands do not adhere to the blue exterior side. However, the velcro adheres quite well to the black underside.So if you are willing to invert the device, it works great. In fact, the blue side is significantly colder that the black side so it inadvertently performs better that way.

This is one of the best purchase I made.I have a couple of things that I like about this item.1. I can drive while icing.2. The ice stays cold for a long time!Icing must be done after training.However, I have to drive back home for an hour after training,and by the time I get home, I think it is kinda too late for icing.The icing material I used to use before this product was not designed forshoulders so while driving it kept sliding down. So it is not only annoying butalso dangerous.Now I can drive safely without getting annoyed by the ice pack sliding down the arm!Second. This ice pack stays cold more than 12 hours easily. Of course I keep it ina cooler (not a good one) until I use it. I leave my house for work at 8am withthe this item in a cooler and I use it after 8:30pm after training!Still icy cold.strongly recommended.

I purchased this as well as one made by pro-ice at the same time to compare. Both are made equally with slightly different strap configurations (both of which are good). For the most part it sure is nice to come home after practice/game (or in my case pitching BP to the team) and have the convenience of these ice packs. Strap it on and watch the news for 30 mins.The only problem I have with these designs is that unless you are creative about strapping the 'arm wrap' up high enough to cover the middle deltoid, the 'shoulder strap' portion just doesn't get this part of the muscle and are left icing only the front & rear deltoid (as well trap & rhomboid). Still worth it though!

Both of my son's play competitive baseball and pitch. We bought this primarily for tournaments when they are pitching multiple games. We keep it in the freezer and then throw it in the cooler when we head out. It fits perfectly and provides icing where they need it on their arms. My only complaint is that the fabric on the outside doesn't hold up well to the repeated velcroing but given the nature of the use of this product, it is a minor setback.

Stays cold. Good fit over shoulder and bicep

I bought this ice wrap because it was a good price at the time. However, it does not conform to your shoulder because of the individual ice pillows. I recommend buying a gel type ice wrap for your shoulder, these remain flexible at all times. You also have to wear a shirt when you do ice therapy for this wrap because without it you feel like your going to get an ice burn, and its just way too cold. With my gel ice wrap i can do therapy without a shirt on and it remains comfortable. if your looking for a cheap shoulder ice wrap i recommend buying the "Smart Temp" shoulder ice wrap, its not the best, but better then this.

I bought this shoulder ice wrap for my son he is 14 years old and it does its job is easy to use ,but do not expect to recieved the ice wrap matching the color it has in the picture, the one that was sent to me is dark blue and it looks cheapy than the one in the picture also does not have logo of any company, I think its pricey for the quality.

I expected a different inner content, i.e., not many "bricks", however small, but a material more malleable and of a composition that froze without assuming one predetermined shape. the ice bricks can be molded OK, so they work all right, just not optimally.I would have preferred the arm part to be detachable; as it is, it is in the way when I just want my shoulder wrapped.Bottom line: this is satisfactory but not ideal. The quality is a good reflection of the (low) price.
