This was a stocking stuffer for my husband. He charged the battery and installed it in his dremel. Works great. He is very happy with it. Obviously, at this point, he has no idea about how long it will hold a charge.

I have been using the replacement for my portable Dremel. It charged well and seems to hold the charge for a long time. After many years my original Dremel battery quit on me. I hope that this one will last as long.

In the middle of a little honey-do project and the trusty old Dremel battery died. Despite the mixed reviews, I ordered this replacement and it arrive the next day. Charged it up and finished the little job. I saw no issues with over-heating or battery life (I probably used it for 15 minutes and the tool still showed a full charge). I would recommend this to a friend or relative.

This battery was ordered 31 Dec, received 3 Jan, charged & first used 8 Jan. Device overheated after 12 minutes. It was very difficult removing the battery, as the case melted at the contacts. The positive contact was obviously discolored, due to heat.Don't trust this battery.
