Does the kettle whistle?

No mate but it’s a good set for the price.

Can it be used on open fire?

I’ve used the pots/kettle on an open fire several times. Just be careful flames aren’t so high they reach the plastic handle covering

How do you get the bowls back in? Can't make space for them.

Hi, Please refer to the first picture in the detail page. There is the way to stack the bowl. Hope it helps
