I TESTED IN A THICK DOOR GLASS. IT WORKED FINE. ALSO SOME PERSONAL TECHNIQUE HELPED WELL TO CUT THE HOLE. OVERALL IT IS A RELIABLE PRODUCT. I USED SLIGHT WATER SPRAY TO KEEP THE DRIL BIT COOL. I AM NOT A PROFESSONAL AN AMATURE BUT I COULD DO IT WITH A HAND DRILL.
