ENO Eagles Nest Outfitters - DoubleNest Hammock, Portable Hammock for Two, Red/Charcoal

First off, this thing is a hammock. If you haven't slept/laid/sat in a hammock you are missing out on an essential life experience. That said, this particular hammock is great. The material is extremely lightweight, yet durable, making this an ideal option for backpacking or even just toting around in general. The material is also very comfortable, and can be easily folded to use as a chair or draped over to cocoon yourself, if you so choose. All in all this thing feels built to last, and it also conveniently packs down into itself.As for being big enough for two people, I'd say that depends greatly on which two people you choose. I've comfortably snuggled up with someone in this, but we were both quite thin and even given that it's imperative you don't mind being extremely close.

I'm an avid camper but have never really liked the idea of sleeping exposed to elements and have always instead elected for a tent. However, as I've gotten older, my back problems (scoliosis) have increased and sleeping on the ground inside a tent has been more and more troublesome, even with an air mattress. My wife finally had enough of my groaning in the morning and decided to buy us this hammock. I was pretty skeptical but after one night of sleeping in it, I'm hooked. I'll never sleep on the ground again. Now, admittedly, I can't compare this with other hammocks as this is the only one I've owned. However, I will say that I can't imagine them being much better. She and I can both easily fit in it and cuddle together as there is more than enough fabric to contain us both. Combined, we actually exceed the 400 lb limit by a bit. I'm a bit on the heavier side. Yet it still holds up with no problem at all. I've been using it for over a year now and love it. Additionally, there's enough extra material that if I'm sleeping in it solo, I can wrap the remainder over the top of me and "cocoon" myself. This was particularly helpful on a dewy morning last weekend. I awoke to a wet hammock and a dry sleeping bag. Love it.

ENO has the absolute best product. This hammock is extremely comfortable, light, and it doesn't take up any space at all. I used this for paddle board camping and I don't think I have ever slept so well while camping. It only takes 5 minutes to set up or take take. I would suggest that if you buy this buy the entire set of the rain tarp, and the bug screen. I live in Florida and if you've ever been here you know it is prone to rain here at random times and the bugs are ridiculous. ENO has perfected every part of hammocks and I can't wait to use it more and more.

Trust me.This hammock is simply amazing. I don't know how else to describe it. The material is extremely lightweight and super comfortable. It is also very, very durable.I weigh 240lbs and feel very secure in this thing. I can "wrap" the extra fabric right around me. The doublenest is the perfect size for us big people, and even if we were to become fit, the extra room is just more comfortable. I could lay in this thing forever. It packs down in its own compression bag pretty small. "Grapefruit" size is probably wishful thinking, but it's pretty small considering what it is.

Best way to camp period.As long as you're in a wooded area to be able to utilize a hammock, this is the way to go.Camped over rocky terrain that would have made regular tent/sleeping bag impossible.Being a side/stomach sleeper it took a bit to adjust but once you go diagonal it straightens out and works like a charm.As good as your queen size mattress at home? No, but you're camping!Get a closed cell foam pad for under your sleeping bag inside the hammock and you're good to go for low temps as well.The plastic carabiners that come with it are fine, but for a few $ I replaced mine with some black diamond neutrino wire gate carabiners on super sale @ local EMS. Feels more secure for no reason at all.

This hammock is amazing. It folds into itself and can fit in a purse. I take it everywhere with me. It is easy to set up. I love reading in it and taking afternoon siestas in it. I would highly recommend this hammock to anyone in the market for one. If you are buying the hammock remember to purchase the straps as well to hang it with. If you end up purchasing this hammock I hope you enjoy it as much as I am.

I purchased the DoubleNest for myself after seeing a video review of a guy comparing the Double and Single for one person. The DoubleNest seemed to be more comfortable with all the extra room, however in retrospect the man reviewing was a fairly large guy. He said he was 6'3 and 220 pounds, so if you are around this same size I imagine the DoubleNest would be more of a suitable fit. However, I am 5'11 and 165 pounds and personally I found the DoubleNest a little less comfortable than a SingleNest was. If I laid in certain ways I could get comfortable, but even then it had to be perfect and plus since it's designed to fit two people when you lay vertically in it the ends of the hammock are very high up and I couldn't see over them unless they were pulled down.However, for two people it's great. It fully supports the weight of two people with no problems at all. It may be a little nerve racking at first but you can trust it. I would only see this product for either a married or dating couple, as the two people in the hammock will be VERY close together. I'd definitely recommend that just friends should get separate hammocks rather than splitting the money for a DoubleNest.

Allora che dire: la porti ovunque e pesa poco e da chiusa nel sacchetto è piccolina (facile da trasportare), la puoi appendere dappertutto. E ovunque vai è comodissima. uno stravaccarsi unico. E' abbastanza larga da poter ospitare 2 persone molto bene e da soli si sta comodissimi. Il materiale sembra sottile ma è molto resistente. ci ho anche dormito fuori e l'amaca ti avvolge. Difetti: per dormirci fuori fa passare molto il fresco (per non dire che non copre assolutamente dal freddo) e un pò il prezzo ma il prodotto è davvero buono ed è necessario comprare a parte i lacci. Conosciuto da un mio amico sul Cammino di Santiago. I moschettoni ti fanno appendere l'amaca davvero dove vuoi.
