I don't often give out a 5, so I was pretty impressed with these suspenders. First off, I'm wanting to hold up a kilt, not a pair of pants. I needed something to hold the kilt up so I didn't have to wear a kilt belt (you usually don't wear a kilt belt when dressing formally). The leather tabs are sturdy and well made, the straps are thick and wider than most suspenders (without being clownishly wide). The clips (as many people pointed out) are lined with plastic - which will be a bit more gentle on the fabric of my kilts than some of those metal ones would be. On the whole, I'm quite pleased.So far...

Clips looked as sturdy as I had been hoping, but I have not had a chance to try them on for any length of time – but I believe they’re going to work for me.

I'm not a not experienced in the world of using suspenders to keep my pants up. These seem to be quite nice. I wanted something to match my jeans. These are close depending on the multitude of denim colors. Although not a fault of any single rear backstrap suspenders, you should know that Levi's jeans has a belt loop in the center of the rear waist. You will have to offset the clamp.

I bought these suspenders to use with jeans and thought that they were fairly heavy duty. For the first few weeks, they held onto the waistband well, but eventually they began slipping free. I couldn't figure out at first why, but realized that the metal that the clips are made from is very thin and tends to bend out of shape allowing the teeth of the grips to start to leave a "gap" even when closed. This requires bending them back in place with a pair of pliers so that they will grip again.I wish that they had spent a few extra pennies and used heavy duty metal because the rest of the suspenders are really nice - leather parts and nice, heavy elastic. It is really frustrating to have the clips fail at the most inopportune times, especially when you don't have a pair of pliers handy to repair them.I recommend looking for a more durable, heavy-duty set of suspenders.

I read many of the Amazon Reviews before ordering and was concerned about the quality. I've only been wearing the first ones for about one week (Oct 2020) and my concerns have been relieved. They seem sturdy and do the intended job. Problems might appear if mishandled but reasonable care shouldn't evolve into many of the issues discussed in the reviews. Size is important so anyone over 6 foot tall might try just one set to see if they fit. Cost is fair for what I received. I HAVE ORDERED TWO MORE PAIRS in different colors from the original is the original ones continue to satisfy me.

I had ordered a different colour, the delivered product is of another colour 👎🏼.The stitches are not properly finished and neither are the cut ends👎🏼.Some of the stitches aren't even completed. They have sewn halfway and left it at that👎🏼.For the price of RS. 299/- I would not recommend to buy.You can get something better at your local shops.
