Is this certified Kosher?

The product that I have in my cupboard is the Spectrum non-hydrogenated Organic All Vegetable Shortening. It has a slice of pie on the label. It does have an Orthodox Union OU. Some similar Spectrum products appear not to have a Kosher symbol. If you look carefully in the Amazon product photos some Spectrum labels seem to have the OU and others don't.

Does this contain any form of soy?

No. The only ingredient is palm oil.

What is the shelf life please?

Great question! If you store it somewhere like a cabinet or pantry that has a pretty stable temperature, it should last a year or longer. The containers are big enough that I’ve not had one of these longer than 15 months.
