The assembly was fine up until the top dome of the heater. The parts were missing pieces and didn’t properly fit together. I screwed it together anyway even though I am missing a bolt. The heater once it’s been on for awhile starts snowing down black ash. It gets everywhere. The phone number on the manual to contact the manufacturer is INCORRECT. IT IS A WRONG NUMBER. The support email is a dead account. Amazon did ZERO help in assisting me even though this product is directly shipped and sold by Amazon. They just kept telling me to contact the manufacturer.... which is a WRONG NUMBER printed in the manual so I am literally SOL.

Bought this on a deal and it is really a piece of junk. The finish on the pieces of steel don match and there were dents in the main housing. Even at the low price it is not worth it.

I bought this to replace one that flew off my deck and broke. This unit works great, igniter works great. I just missed the fact that it doesn't have a propane tank door. You have to lift up the bottom cover to replace the tank or turn the gas on/off. You need a third hand to replace the tank. I'm still very happy with how this performs

huge dent when took out of box and box was padded so can only assume sent that way. Was able to push dents out but was not happy about that. Took about 25 minutes to put together, but works well and produces great heat.. I bit wobbly top heavy even with the propane tank in it. Set it on my back porch did not stake it into the ground.

I live in FL so the need for a heavy duty outdoor heater is not exactly high. However I started smoking cigars on the patio and really don't like doing so when it's in the 50's or 40's. I looked around at various places and found this heater to be the lowest price at the time (just under 90).I received it and most parts were in good condition however the base was scratched and dented, as it was an outdoor heater and bound to get scratches anyway I didn't want to go through a whole rigmarole of returning.Assembly was a pain but manageable (I didn't like that they screwed many of the bolts on so you had to remove them and put them back when the parts were assembled, why not leave them in a bag like everything else?I wish height was adjustable as this thing stands about 8' high and I'd get more heat out of it at 6' since I'm sitting but that's a small complaint. It directs heat downward and I'm able to run it at a low setting most of the time getting adequate heat. This is overkill for FL but at the price I pulled the trigger.Shop around as other sites and warehouse clubs will put these on sale all the time (this one is probably near the bottom end but these aren't exactly complicated so you probably don't need high end)Changing the tank is a bit of a pain, would be nice if something was available to hook the enclosure on holding it up so you could easily add/remove a tank, other models have a door that opens.There's no shelf for storage on the unit like some others have but I could care less, I wasn't using it for that.Overall for price I give 4 stars the ding from having the scratch/dented base, this should have been sold as "like new" condition or "very good" at a slight discount not brand new to get 5 stars.

Doesn't put out that much heat.

I received my heater really fast and in great condition. It took me no time to put it together and it work perfect. It put out a lot of heat. I love it.

When it is burning, the black dust is always coming out. Flame is red and shaking. I have to bear the dirt when I use it. The reason why I did not return it is that it is very cold in winter here and I do not want to bother.

This patio heater is excellent. It's Stainless Steel construction is sturdy. It looks great and heatsa large patio.
