Beni Schichihenge Variegated Japanese Maple 1 - Year Live Plant

I got these 3 different trees for zone 9 for Laredo Tx and all died. I did my homework and I’ve some before but unfortunately these did not make it. From March till Sept or so they began dying. From the morning sun to all shade n still died…can someone help me to tell me why they died of any ideas…

This tree is variegated as description states, but it is a very, very light pink that is difficult to see unless you are up close. I have added a picture to show this. It is also a splice which was not included in the description. If you plan to bonsai be aware that the splice is very visible. The seller did not reply to any messages.

Small but healthy. Problem is all trees have no labels, you have to figure it out yourself.

Arrived in good shape. Healthy and soil moist.

This is my second order from JMandE. I have it as a bonsai in my livingroom, and it is doing great. This one was bigger than anticipated. The last 1 year I ordered from them was about 1/2 the size. It came covered with small (1 inch-ish) spring-time pink/ green/ (greenish) white leaves, but most of those have shriveled and fallen off, but it has put on plenty of new growth (summertime green/white) since it came.

I was really excited about this tree. It was doing well and then it suddenly died. The seller ignored my messages. Don't do business with them unless you are happy to throw your money away.

Watered, cared for as per instructions- tree died. 50% of plants I order from Amazon die!

Very pretty foilage, and arrived in great shape, and it is very healthy, and doing great! I can't wait till it grows some more and fills in an area in my shade garden!
