Queen in 3-D: Updated Edition (3d Stereoscopic Book): Lite Edition

Terrific book, takes you through Brian's journey with this fascinating subject from his school days through Queen glory days up to the present day including 3D snapshots on set of the current smash movie "Bohemian Rhapsody". Please note that this book DOES include complimentary OWL 3D viewer. Just a little tip for any one who may not get on with the excellent viewer. Try relaxing your eyes as though you are about to drop off to sleep, then attempt to go slightly "cross eyed" at the same time at a distance of approximately 8 inches whilst gently "zooming" in and of with your vision (this should require minimum head movements if any) Then, with some luck, the 3D image slowly and magically comes to life. Hope this may help some people it certainly works for me.

I bought this version on the back of a recommendation from one of these reviews. But please note, this version comes with the much inferior 'Owl lite', which is, ironically the 2D version of the original Owl tool. This will NOT sit on the page and is much harder to get to an optimal distance to view the images in their intended 3D.Don't get this iteration if you want the better original Owl, or the improved Owl 2 tool.The book however is exactly as expected and still really great!

I really enjoyed viewing the stereoscopic images. I haven't read the book yet as I was too excited to view the special format photos but it seems to be very indepth. Its very fascinating to see the images amost reach out to you as if you could almost touch them. GREAT job Brian May!

Good way to get the book cheaper than the original first edition. Having said that you do not get the slip case with the 3d effect picture of Freddie or the better version of the OWL viewer. The book itself has 3d photos from Brian May's own collection showing Queen on stage, back stage, on the road, in the studio etc. It really puts you there. This second edition has extra pages added with photos from the shooting of the film Bohemian Rhapsody. Worth every penny. Stunning.

Excellent quality. Beautiful photos and interesting commentary by Brian May. The only problem is that you have to try focus your eyes and certain way which is not easy to do. Loved the pics of the bts on the Bo Rhap movie. A must for any Queen fan or a fan of the movie. Worth the money. Thanks Bri

Not only does this have some amazing photos of Queen over the years but the commentary by Brian May is fascinating. An absolute must for any Queen fan and it will enthuse you about 3-D photography too.

I know Mr May has worked very hard on this but it's very difficult to see it in 3d...I barely made it and understood how to use the glasses but nobody else in my family did..Paid good money for my mum but she's not enjoying it..

This is very cool book if You like 3-D technology. I know that Dr. May has been heavily involved with these 3D books in general and at least for me this book raised interest on those as well.
