The best. I’ve had one of these for years and it is so easy to use and refill. My pug found it near the BBQ grill (it makes a great lighter also) and chewed the heck out of it. Amazon Prime delivered a replacement the next day. Win-win. Falling in love with this product all over again.

I use this torch for soldering metal like brass, copper and silver and it really does the job pretty well.It has a really nice pin point end to the flame to get accurate solders.

Save your money and go with a Blazer torch. The flame got very week after a full month of use. This is a very basic cheaply made mini torch. It's worth maybe $7.00 brand new. Steer clear of this

So Roburn just had to add awkward child safety "advancements" to its Culinary Torch. The old style torch worked easily and quickly. Don't expect any quick and easy lights out of this "advanced" product. Oh it works well once it lights but getting there never happens the first time you try. It usually takes at least two efforts and sometimes 3 or 4. All in the so called name of safety. They made an excellent product - worse.

This is the second torch of this kind in my collection; one for working with food and the other for household projects that require a compact, extremely hot flame. The torch is extremely well made and, my original, after 8 years of hard use, still works flawlessly.

doesnt light every time

I needed a way to brown the tops of my potatoes au gratin. I usually cook them in the microwave so I use this device to brown the tops. Works great.

How can the latch be disabled? There are no children in my house. What a lousy deal. My old one was great until it wore out.
