Daughter, 6, helped me put it together. There is some touchy assembly, but overall it was not bad. Took about 30 minutes or so. Bought a tractor, also playmobil, and my 2 year old son has been playing with the set for an hour. They never play together for this long without a fight, it is a miracle. If you're thinking about this set, BUY IT.
