Excellent Collection of MLK Wisdom, yet poorly arranged
I really wish everyone -- of all races -- were more familiar with MLK's message and methods, especially because they would provide great insight for our present national discourse here in June, 2020. In any case, his wisdom is timeless. For those trying to make sense of the order, here's a track listing which corrects for the mistakes in the product description above.1) Address Concluding the Selma to Montgomery March - 03-25-19652) All Here and Now - 06-17-19663) American Dream - Lincoln University - 06-06-19614) At Southern Baptist Seminary in 19615) Beyond Vietnam - A Time to Break Silence - 04-04-19676) Central Park - 04-05-1968 (public reactions to his assassination)7) Compilation (includes duplicates of other tracks)8) Creative Protest9) Eulogy - Robert F. Greatest orator of the 20th century. What's more do you need?
Martin Luther King Jr was the greatest orator of the 20th century. If you want to learn how to be a great speaker, while also learning about the history of the Civil Rights Movement. this collection is indispensable.

No chapter headings.
There are many speeches in this audio book, which is great, but the lack of chapter headings is really problematic.

I recomend that all that are inclined and not so inclined to listen to this man's great timeless wisdom that is so needed Today!
This is a wonderful collection and @$2.95 it is within the reach of most budgets. It would behoove everyone to listen to his timeless wisdom. Not only is a good collection of Martin Luther King Jr.'s speeches, it has a very interesting memorial gathering at central Park NY after his murder/assassination with many speakers who a majority of sadly forgot or never understood Martin Luther King Jr.'s core messages. As they allude to turning toward violence and they blanket blame whites rather than sticking to blaming the perpetrator of the heinous crime. Not being a christian I still respect how Martin understands and applies the noble portions of the Christian faith. As other's have said it would have made more sense to put the speeches in chronological order, have an audio introduction as to announcing where and when the speech was made, and perhaps move duplicate speeches made at different locations to the end of the program leaving the clearest most comprehensive speech in the timeline, but allowing the listener to hear the subtle nuances in the repeated speeches.

Great Speaker, However duplicated speeches?
I have listened to at least 5 hours of this collection and am now on chapter 7, given that this is Dr King and he was an awesome speaker and a great man, my review isn't negative about him but about the collection. I've heard 3 different speeches and they seem to have repeated 3 different times thus far. In all fairness, he as a preacher could be speaking to different audiences using the same notes, however, it sounds verbatim (with an audience and then without). I really thought at this point I would have been hearing a collection of "different" speeches that would have given me greater insight into his messages both as a Civil Rights Leader and as a preacher of the Gospel. Additonally having some type of chronological order to the speeches would have been helpful. A memorial rally about his death is heard and then his speeches continue. Either way, I'm happy to have this item in my collection.
