Work Boots Men's 6" Plain Toe Wedge Boot for Construction, Lightweight Comfortable Outsole

Wow I'm actually amazed with these boots. This is my second pair of boots from Golden fox. The first ones were the heritage style boots, the boondockers I think? Those were nice. But these are more rugged. I've been wearing them every day to work. I'm a carpenter and these are holding up great. Light weight and comfortable and the price is great. I'm really really impressed with these boots. I'm 100% going to keep purchasing boots from them. I can't say it enough, GREAT BOOTS.

Bought these after seeing Rose Anvil’s review about the moc toe version of these boots on YouTube. Love the comfort out of the box (the roomy toe-box is especially great). They are my first pair of GYW boots and I’ve been wearing them 10+ hours a day for the last few weeks (occasionally in wet conditions); they look good as new with just a little brushing. Yet to see how they hold up in the long run but if they make it over a year, I’m a happy man. They run a bit large, so buy at least 1 or 1/2 size down from your typical sneaker size.

Good boots, especially for the price from what I can tell so far. I've been wearing them for 10 hour days on concrete fir two weeks now. Nice looking boots. Could be worn in the office or the field. Have been up and down ladders and they are sturdy enough for that. Good leather, nice style, sole is sewn on, not glued. By the middle of the second day I stopped noticing the new boot discomfort that comes with breaking in good leather. I wouldn't say they are broken in yet, but feet don't hurt at the end of the day. Note that the leather slack at the base of the tongue will rub the top of your foot if you have a medium high arch like mine. That part of the leather broke in in a day. We'll see how long they last, but so far good boots. I wouldn't recommend these for a wide foot, but for a medium foot like mine they are snug, but not too snug. I did rub with mink oil before wearing. Go a half size down from your Nike sneakers, and you should get a good fit.

I can't believe how well these have held up... We purchased them in February 2020 and my husband has worn these boots 4x per week (but less in the summer and to his office job, tbf). They are now - after 6 years!!! - showing wear in the sole but I hope that we can repair them to keep them going. The leather still looks good! They are not super warm in the winter but they protect against the elements well. Overall I'm super impressed! We will keep coming back to Golden Fox because they are a reasonable price for great shoes. If only they made women's shoes too...

I ordered a size 9 at first that was a mistake because most of my shoes are a ten the customer service was excellent I was able to call them speak to a person send them back and they sent me another pair at 9 1/2 and they fit perfectly if most of your shoes are a size 10 get a nine 9.5 or a 10. Love the color. Love the texture of the leather and they seem very sturdy. Not to mention these things are comfortable. The souls are nice and soft I thought the sides were a little hard at first but after stomping around in them for about 12 hours at work today they softened up a little bit and I think they're going to be better than most For long term durability. So far im very satisfied with golden foxes product.

I'm an Electrician and I've worn these boots for several Months and they are very comfy and supportive with an good insole Not the ones that come with them. I bought some "sport Insoles" from walmart for $9 and they made a world of difference. I would buy them again. The soles do get dirty fast but overall real good for the money. The leather is not top notch like thorogood but it's decent and it softens up over time. I recommend for sure if your doing trade work but not for super heavy duty work.

This is my second purchase of this boot because of being more than satisfied with the first pair. I'm on concrete 8-10 hours a day 5 days a week and these boots were always very comfortable up to the last month or two. Not bad for two year old boots that were half the price of the Georgia boots I use to buy. The leather was still in great shape but the soles were starting to deteriorate some on the bottom. Ordering down a half size as suggested by other reviews was a perfect fit. These boots were light in weight, and very comfortable after a couple day break-in period. If this company keeps making boots of this quality they'll have my business for a long time.

I bought these for my husband and he was pleasantly surprised. A little stiff at first but a good boot. They last quite a while and are very comfortable.

Ordered my usual size 11, a bit big but close enough. Think there great!
