Clarks Women's May Marigold Slip-On Loafer

I have very wide feet and can rarely find shoes that fit my feet comfortably. I usually have to size up to accomodate this. I initially ordered a size up thinking that they would be too narrow and actually had to return them and order my true size which fit perfectly. These shoes are snug enough to where my foot is held in place, but not so much that my feet feel suffocated. They are soft inside and were comfortable all day. Very nice shoe! They seem well made and durable.

My feet were hurting when I received these shoes. I couldn't wait to put them on. They are sooooo comfortable! My feet do not hurt in them. In addition to comfort, they are beautiful! Well made and a great value. They arrived two days after I bought them. I love them.

Good quality and nice look, but they run really small and narrow. Go up a FULL size. If you can get the right size that doesn't pinch your toes, then they are comfortable all day.

They fit perfect but I went down a half a size. I needed something comfortable for work.

I really like Clark’s shoes, and have a basic sense as to how they will fit. Lately though, I feel that their sizing seems somewhat unpredictable. I find they run on the large side, so even though for other brands I look for 8.5 wide, (sometimes 8wide), I have found that with Clark’s I probably need 8 medium, particularly since leather tends to loosen with wear. However, since these shoes were patent leather, I thought that the lack of give in the material would lead to a tight shoe that would never become more comfortable. So when I ordered them, I ordered 8 wide. From the start they have been too big, not just by my toes joints, but I feel like my feet are swimming in the shoe, and that is with socks! I don’t understand because I have a wide foot; it is as if these are extra wide, and the heel is loose as well, and I do not have narrow heels. I need to insert some heel pads so the shoes do not feel,as though they are going to fall off when I walk.When I ordered these I also order a different pair of Clark’s, black leather 8 medium, which were a bit snug, but are starting to loosen a bit and are quite comfortable. They are both pairs of flat shoes, for comfort at work, I can’t get over the disparity in sizing between the medium and wide. I know a true comparison would be between medium and wide of the same shoe, but one should expect sizing consistency within a line of shoes.Otherwise, I like the shoes, a little shine to dress them up. I had hoped to wear them with skirts as well as pants, but they would not stay on with nylons instead of socks, so pants only!

I twisted my ankle last year and these give me lots of support and I don’t feel the vibrations of the pavement when walking. It helped my ankle heal.

These shoes are surprisingly comfortable. The top edge of the shoe is a little high, and I expected it to hurt where it rubs against my ankle bone -- but it doesn't. I thought I would have to spend several days working up to being able to wear them all day, but I've worn them all day every day right from the start, and not had a problem.I actually have to buy shoes a half size too big because for some reason ALL of the shoe companies have stopped making shoes in my size -- which is a half size. I have found that if I get regular width, I can make the next size work, and this is the case with these. The heel area was very narrow at first, and when the heel slipped off, I had a hard time getting it back on. But I found that if I stepped carefully and slowly, it didn't slip off. Within a couple of days the heel had broadened out to where if it does slip off, my foot slips right back in without my having to pay much attention.The shoes are well constructed. They feel like they will last a long time. And they're pretty.

I bought 6.5 W but it didn't fit. The shoes were so comfy I had to exchange though. I sized down to 6 and not wide and they fit perfect. They fit a bit small for me, yet the toe part is a bit long. Now with the new size I'm so happy. They are well made shoes. They don't make my feet sweaty. Perfect for work.

Very good value for money fits like a glove and very comfortable they do come from abroad but I have bought before and had no trouble

The shoes look good and leather is nice - insole very comfortable. The size 6.5 fits well. Hwr after an hr of walking, the joint at the big toe [MTP] tend to hurt slightly - hope that the leather will soften after more usage.
