2nd best backrest I've tried on here (and I've tried lots). Decently firm, nice and big, covers the whole back, good lumbar and upper back support. Not sure about a car but works great on a computer chair if you have a deep one. Nice, soft velvety cover.

I bought this for my computer chair at work,it is very comfortable, and feels nice when you are sitting back against it,it supports your lumbar area,.colleagues have been asking about it, i would recommend this item.

Originally bought this as a gift for my husband as he was driving long hours. It cured his back pain from the first day, it made him so much more comfortable. No longer driving, I now use it on my dining chair for support during my home working. It goes in the car when we can travel. A good investment

Slightly disappointed with this support. I have disc deterioration and need substantial support when sitting or driving. I have an Obus form in my seat at home but I still needed support at the the lowest point of the spine at home and in the car. This support does offer support in this area but it is more akin to a firm memory foam and there is too much give in it to give me the support I need. The support is negligible if placed on a soft backed chair. When using the belts supplied with the cushion on my car seats the tension of the belts keep the cushion proud of the bucket seats so that when you sit, you can move the cushion out of position. It is not for me but would be fine as a general back support to prevent back fatigue.

I have Coccyx pain sitting in computer chairs a lot so I bought their coccyx pillow which was very good. This one is for your back and I have have to say the quality is even better. Its made of like crushes velvet or suade type material and very comfy.

very impressed with this back support, I use it on my desk chair. The memory foam is soft enough to mould to you but firm enough to support your back. It is smart and comes with straps to fit it to the chair as reqd. Could easily be used in a car on a long drive and gives you exactly the amount of support you need. Highly recommended

I have to spend large amounts of time in bed due to severe ME/CFS and was getting a lot of back pain. This has helped, though I do also find I need to rest forwards from time to time as well. It's softer than I expected but I don't know why as it does say it's memory foam. All in all, I'm glad I bought it. It's comfortable when sitting in upright chairs as well and easily transportable and quite discreet.

aorttiya, After using an inflatable back rest for months that was constantly deflating at last the poerfect answer. It arrived last night via Amazon and is already fitted to the office chair in front of my i-Mac. Absolutely brilliant! Thank you Dr. Don Chapman
