@Stonkraft - excellent workmanship. The pieces are well in shape n proportion. Well weighted and best suited for 14" / 16" boards. The black pieces lack finishing esp the knight as compared to white but this could be due to the wood nature. But overall its a fantastic piece set. Excellent packing and quick delivery.The white pieces are a marvel !!! The whole set a treat for eyes.Cons - no extra queens is a slight disappointment. @stonkraft - I have also bought the 16x16 rosewood board. Delivered today but I'm out of place so will share feedback later. Can I request you to send me 2 extra queen's please ? That is the only thing missing as of now in my whole set. I m ready to pay for it also. Please give me matching black n white Queen please !!!!

Good quality but not exactly as shown in the pictures
First, the good part - 1. Excellent quality wood and carving, 2. Sturdy and reasonably weighted, 3. Polish on the black pieces looks neatHowever, I have deducted one star because the Queens are not of the same height as shown in the images. It is significantly shorter than the King and is only slightly taller than the Bishop and the Knight. This sort of distorts the appearance a little. Also, the Knights are abnormally large (slightly taller than the Bishop) which is not usually the case.Overall, good set! If the most powerful piece were made a little taller, 5 stars any day.

it is an excellent piece worth keeping in your home. the wooden work is superb, when i got my package , i wrote a bad review as one coin was broken/ chipped. but the stonecraft team got in touch with me and promised to replace the coin- no need was there to return entire package. i always dreamt of such beautiful pieces in my home. worth buying it

No extra queen. Not good for a student or professional players.
No extra queens. Not good for anyone playing chess seriously.The vendor had said they are adding extra queens soon but they haven't yet. I wrote to the vendor asking if I can buy just the 2 extra queens separately but they never responded to me. Disappointing.While the quality is good, I would avoid buying this set just because of the lack of queens. There are plenty of other comparable quality chess sets available that have extra queens. I now need to buy a whole new set from another brand just for the 2 extra queens.

Poor and defective quality
Don't buy this product.it's quality so poor.i received defective items even after replacement too.i want to return my money back now..

Another excellent product from the StonKraft. Product design, quality, and finish is premium. Giving only 3 stars because it lacks the case for chess men pieces, and extra queens for both the colors.

The pieces are of good quality. Even though they are on the costlier side, I would recommend these pieces for boards 16 or slightly larger than 16 square inches. They also seem to be quite durable, and look very good. So do go for them.
