Its nothing without a SUB Woofer
For all music enthusiasts if love music go for sub. if you are vocal or classical music lover, then this is excellenr. Delivers best sound from 5.25" speakers. Without Sub tweeters surpasses the bass from woofer. As far quality of sound is concerned, its good. Hope JBL will have longer life time. This can handle enormous power. Tested with 70W amp & it doesn't creep or crack at almost full volume level.

Ich habe die JBL GTO 509C in einem Mercedes Benz Viano in den Vordertüren verbaut. Der Sound ist insgesamt sehr gut (Hochtönerpegel 0db) bewertet bei der Fahrt in Verbindung mit entsprechenden Motorgeräuschen. Sprachverständlichkeit bei leisem Pegel sehr gut! Der Bass ist für die Chassisgrösse präzise und bildet die Tiefen gut ab. Das dazu gehörige Zubehör ist reichhaltig und deckt die meisten Einbausituationen der separierten Hochtöner ab. In meinem Fall mußte ich für den Einbau der Bässe einen 13 mm starken Distanzring aus Holz basteln damit die versenkten Fenster nicht am Lautsprecher schleifen. Dies wäre noch eine wünschenswerte Zubehörerweiterung die JBL nochleisten könnte.

Excellent pair of front component
I have ordered and got these delivered to Bangalore, India.Using them in a Honda City.My stock front components were a 2 1/2 inch ones and I wanted to replace them without having to do any adjustment or cutouts.I ordered these to pair them with JBL 3Way coaxial speakers (400W) and connected them to a Kenwood KMMBT315U head unit.Even without a subwoofer and amplifier, the sound is excellent. I listen to bands like Kreator, Sepultura, etc. and the crispness and clarity of the guitar riffs along with the thump of the fast paced drumming is satisfactory. The tweeters work well too. The installation was also very simple, though I did get it done through a professional.
