A First Course in Probability, 9e (Old Edition)

This a very good book to start the probability theory. Properly explained the concept with a good number of examples.

An apt text book for beginners in the field. Has a great deal of exercises and practice problems. Covers every topic in detail. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Must book to learn probability at under graduate level. Can be a source book for fundamental concepts for post graduate or working professionals.

Decent book for the beginnersPackaging could have been better

Barely any intuition presented. Compared to the Feller's classic work "An introduction to Probability theory and its applications" this book is just a bunch of formulas followed by couple of examples. There are a lot of exercises, doing them you'll learn some stuff about probability but not all. I'd recommend Feller's book for any first time learner. On bright side this book too has answers to some problems
