AMERICAN MICRONIC® 2200W High-Suction Vacuum Cleaner | 32 kPa Powerful Suction | Variable Speed Control | HEPA Filter | Telescopic Pipe & Washable Dust Bag | AMI-VCC-2200WDx (Red & Black)

Have been using it since 2018,, suction is still very good , have another vacume which (I use in office that's of different brand which is just 2 yrs old bought in 2024 but the suction ability has come down under a year usage ... ). The American micronic vacuum is best

It has all the features but only one this that i should buy wet and dry cleaner, otherwise this is the best product ever i bought from Amazon

So far I have no complaints with this product. Been using for a while for carpets and greatly satisfied with the performance of this vacuum cleaner. Happy to have chosen and bought this one. It looks and feels strong and sturdy. Just feels like a little big compared to others. One thing that puts me down a little is that it doesn't come with extra filter and Dust bag. Overall, highly recommended and price is great.

Don’t go by the name AMERICAN. It’s a market gimmick. I have been using vacuum cleaner since last 30 years. And mainly eureka Forbes brand and Panasonic. All of them lived up to the expectation. This one has following flaws1. Quality of hose and accessories is very poor as compared to other established brands.2. The telescopic rod barely reaches 8ft. So cleaning and sucking cobweb and wall curtains is pretty difficult.3. There is no blower function which is of great use to clear dust and leaves off the balcony , patio or drive way and mosquito net of windows, doors and grills.4. Mentioned the wattage of 2200 watts it suction power is not that great. That means it is not an energy efficient machine. In my case the motor caught fire and the seller couldn’t explain the reason for it . I got it changed for a price as the machine was out of warranty.Motor catching fire is a serious issue which I have never ever faced with my previous vacuum cleaners.Over a period of time the motor used to become weaker but never caught fire.5. The power cord is very thin seeing the wattage of the machine and has two pin plug in my case. Other brands come with three pin socket small for lower wattage and power plug for higher wattage. After getting the motor changed I have discovered that the suction power is pretty low and still there is some burning smell.I would recommend to stay away from this brand as the term AMERICAN has nothing to do with this brand.Go for reputed brands

Suction in this is a major plusin this vacuum cleaner, so cleaning is good. However, while cleaning the floor, the wheels movement attached to the Vacuum Cleaner foot seems erratic. It takes quite a strength to keep the movement in straight line while cleaning. Not sure how the manufacturer did not pay attention to this basic engineering.I have used a couple of products from Philips in the past, and this kind of problem was never experienced. The current product has looks and feel similar to the old Philips one, but with better suction power.Overall, a good product with a bit of improvement needs.

Review after using for first time.Pros :1. Very powerful suction. I was able to clean sofas very easily.2. Adjustable power. I was able to get all the work done in medium power, and used max power for the tough spots.3. Telescopic pipe means that you do not have to attach/detach pipes when you want to increase length. The length can be increased/decreased at the press of a button. This is very useful.4. The motor is not too loud. Loudness depends on the power you are using at.5. Lightweight. It has plastic body which makes it easy to carry from one room to another by a single individual.6. Wire length is 5 metres. ( I measured). It is sufficient for size of Indian homes.7. Overheating : Used it for around 1 hour with breaks of a minute or two every 10 minutes. Did not face problem of overheating. I would not recommend using at max power for more than 5 minutes. Every machine has limits.8. Dust bags : Seems washable, thought not sure. Comes with 1 dust bag.9. Attachments : comes with following attachments - telescopic pipe, upholstery brush, floor/carpet brush, crevice nozzle and regular brush.Cons :1. Manual is not sufficient. It is hardly 3 pages of document. It does not provide any information on maintainance of the machine, or how to clean the filters, etc.2. Storage : I was expecting a clip using which attachments can be attached to the main body for storage. I couldn't find any. EDIT : Found it later. It is on the floor/carpet attachment.3. No blower or wet vaccuming possible.

Well, after using Eureka Forbes for a long time, I stumbled upon one of these and thought to give it a shot. Well, it has a strong suction power and is definitely power-hungry! Also the hose isn't very long, so it will struggle to get to the roof corners. The accessories are minimal but they are the only ones that you will ever need. As for the acoustics, it's quite noisy. If the power of your house fluctuates every now and then, it will not even start. You will have to plug it into a UPS or a stabilizer. The best thing about this machine is that it's quite light weight and easy to operate.Kudos to Amazon Delivery!
