1MORE E1001-GD Wired in Ear Earphone with Mic (Gold)

I have been using this headphone for over a month now. It takes about 10-12 hours of burn-in period, so don't be disappointed if you do not feel the headphone is not up to the mark during that time period. I am highly satisfied with the audio spectrum and dynamic range of this headphone. If you are a bass head, don't go for this headphone. That does not mean that this headphone lacks bass, it does not overdo it, unlike some of the other headphones that are in trend today. My music preference is mostly in EDM, pop and rock and this headphone offers the perfect sound for that kind of listening. In terms of build quality, there are no complaints either, although I would have loved to see the durable rope like material, used for the complete length of the headphone, and not till the mic only. Lastly, I must complement 1MORE for the packaging of the product. Unboxing the product is really one of a kind experience. The cases, the eartips, the attachments are of top notch quality. I have seen people complaining about the size and angle of the eartips, with some people complaining about the tips falling off the ear too quickly. Luckily for me, the default eartip was good enough. As for the angle of the eartip, it might not work if you are using this during gym session, but I use it mainly during my work hours and daily commute, and there is no problem as such in those conditions. Overall, I am thoroughly satisfied, and highly recommend the product.

The foremost requirement before you buy these ear buds is "patience".These are definitely not Ready for Use type earbuds, you have to burn-in for at least 72 hours using their 1more Assistant AP in play store or any other source in you tube. They will definitely sound harsh and crude and will lack any refinement to an audiophile ear out of the box. The treble will be ear piercingly harsh, the mids not prominent and the bass flat, is what you will experience out of the box. But guys, once you burn-in these earbuds and then listen, they are just awesome, black and white difference! Looks like these earbuds were introduced to prove the burn-in theory! The lows are pronounced, the mids are prominent and the highs are ... Yes HIGH - may that's the way the sound engineer intended you to listen to the tracks you hear and that's why the THX certification - you hear the original sound recording without enhancements. Please test these earbuds with a good flac file and a good player with equalizer built in, to experience the capabilities of the three drivers. I used a one plus 6 mobile device with Neutron music player, audio output through USB C (not from headphone jack) -->Fiio K1 -->Fiio E18 -->Fiio A5 -->one more triple driver earbuds! PL check the image for the connection. I tested country music, heavy metal, rock, EDM, Blues, Jazz and Hindi song melodies . My verdict is go for it, but burn them in first. I compared them with my other earbuds (Bowers and Wilkins C5S2) and these sound almost 80 percent as good, if you do not mind the highs which are high! Sound is subjective anyways! I am still burning - in mine, may be another 150 hours and hoping for more refinement in the highs! The pricing is high in India, cable endurance is a question mark, burn-in is time consuming process, and hence 4 stars!

This pair of earphone has been my first high value earphone purchase by far. The performance however, would depend on how it is used. I've been using PoweAMP player to play music and FLAC files in particular. .mp3 or any other format do not bring out the best in them, they just do not do justice to this pair. It is also highly recommended that you download the "1MORE ASSISTANT" app from the Play Store/App Store to burn/run the drivers for atleast 12hrs for some amazing performance. What this necessarily does is burns the drivers to sound better; just like seasoning a new engine of a vehicle. The packaging is a treat and do make an unboxing video for memory sake ;) The package contains the earphone, eartips (both silicon and foam, I just love the foam ones), carry case and a clip. The only downside is you do not get the brand value that you would generally get with maybe a pair of UE or Shure buds, but the performance is at par with any of the earphones for the price. Would've loved to get one in the clear finish (shure users would know). It is a must buy if you are a hardcore music enthusiast and want some amazing lows and mids. The Bass is close to what I think would be extreme. I totally dig the partially-braided cables and the inline remote works well with both iOS and Android. FYI: It costs $100 in the US which is ~25% less.

At first I thought I lost it to spend 9K. however as time passed and I compared it to other earphones I could sense some difference in the sound quality. Then I started trying it on different devices and then suddenly it started shining with that amazing clarity and every detail of the music was placed for me to feel and enjoy. Amazing packing and lightning fast delivery by Amazon. Only thing I didnt like was the set of bundled ear tips. They could have bundled something better than this. Other than that I loved the build quality of the earphones. Update They seem to show a lot of wear after few months of moderate use. The eartips are pathetic and come off easily. The cable from the mic to the eartips is also bad. The cables seem to tangle a lot. Didn't expect this as none of the reviewers mentioned wear and tear. My senheisser cx180 has seen worse and still doesn't have the wear and tear like this set. Sound is still good though but what's the use of it continues to wear at this rate, I will have to choose something else not even a year down the line.

The BEST in ears I've ever had. Prior to this I was using the sony XB90EX.. When it finally went bad, I bought the sony MDR EX750. But it didn't match my earlier earphones in terms of warmth specifically in the mid range.. I then went ahead and bought these Pros * Crystal clear bass, midrange and high treble without being harsh * Excellent separation of sounds.. You can almost visualize the arrangement of instruments * Vocals and instrumentals sound full bodied, warm and punchy * Better than the XB90EX in terms of overall sound quality and much better than Sony MDR EX750. * Excellent and premium packing.. Cons * Relatively unknown brand.. Long term durability and warranty might be at risk * No brag value.. It's not a "Bose" If you love music, go for it blindly... It's bass is not as over exaggerated as the XB series, but it gives a far more balanced and refined sound. And bass can always be boosted using software, but quality and clarity cannot

The sound quality is great although bass is not that high. However, around 16 months since purchase, the sound from left earbud became very minimal even at the loudest. I contacted 1More customer care and they asked me to send the earbuds by post or courier which I did. They simply returned the headsets saying that its out of warranty and can't be repaired. I feel that for such expensive earbuds and tall claims of quality, this is very poor when compared to others such as Bose.

TOO MANY FAKE REVIEWS, also some people all of a sudden jumping in and calling themselves "Sound Engineers" reviewing a 8000 rupees in-earphones, only raising suspicions which I failed to realise before buying this non refundable stuff! Sound output is powerless, Soundstage is just missing, and too high in 4 to 8 KHz making the sound appearing like a landline telephone earpiece, unless equalized heavily. Nowhere near the clariy of the big players. Bass output is commendable though controlled, short span but strong. 3 layers are making all ting ting zick zhak things audible but if the output quality is so ordinary (I guess because the speakers' quality are ordinary, nowhere comparing to the Geman / American or even Japanese Legendary cos), that does not make any big difference. At least I would not go beyond the Legends ever anytime next, for choosing speaker of any kind.

Just 1More word - HYPNOTIC!!! I feel sad for most people today because majority of people are satisfied on their mediocre headphones while missing out on these heavenly creature because the more i listen them the more i wanna listen to them. Vocals feels like LSD trip you WILL feel the other dimension(BELIEVE ON THAT), there's a song that kinda invoke a lot of emotion outta me but this time it nearly made me wanna cry and this happened with 3 more songs at last you can't put price on quality but 1More did and it's quite a VALUE. I forgot to mention one thing, sound changes after 120 hours burn in, the silicone one's are best out of the box but after 300 hours burn in it's the foam tip who dominates the show, sound will have magical nuance and full hitting concentrated bass, to be honest with you the moment I changed the silicone tips with the foam one it felt like I connected a high end dac with these earphones. I'm driving these earphone through LG v20 smartphone and the dac/amp on v20 is adequate enough to make them shine. Edited: (5th August 2019) After being on this year long Audiophile journey I came to terms with one fact that wasn't explicit anywhere on the web, Don't buy any Hi-Fi Earphone or Headphone if don't already have a decent dac, even the cheap one will do.

Quando comprei esses fones fiz uma primeira avaliação aos poucos dias, falando maravilhas deles. Bom, agora já passaram-se alguns meses de uso e vou atualizar essa avaliação. E o seguinte, depois de muitas horas diária curtindo meus 1more, só posso não só confirmar minha primeira avaliação, mas aumentar ela. A cada dia esses aparelhos melhoram um pouco mais. Não experimentei outros fones nos últimos anos desses que chamam high top, tipo Bosé, Sony, etc. Nem precisso. Me conheço muito bem, e duvido muito que nenhum aparelho possa ficar nem perto das sensações que me dam meus 1more evo. Já tive na vida muitos artículos considerados de luxo: relógios tag Heuer, carros alfa romeo, e por aí. Jamais, nunca até fiz uma compra tão satisfatória como está. Paguei 548R$ por esses fones. Se tivesse pagado 5480, ainda continuaria achando que paguei barato.

Consegnate oggi nel primo pomeriggio, le ho SUBITO messe alla prova. Intanto premetto che la confezione è da favola, nemmeno in una gioielleria ho mai visto una confezione così curata e BELLA da vedere. Dentro ovviamente le cuffie e tanti "accessori" che solo a guardare già provavo un senso di "goduria", premetto che di cuffie e auricolari ne ho tanti, le ultime acquistate sono delle Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 250 OHM favolose e delle AKG. Ma torniamo a noi, le 1MORE E 1001 sono già belle a vederle, si vede subito che sono ben costruite con materiali di eccellenza, l'unica cosa che mi ha un pò ma solo poco fatto pensare è il filo, vicino agli auricolari mi è sembrato troppo "fragile". In primis le ho collegate così come erano al mio x3 2nd gen e....accidenti, mi è caduto il mondo addosso, si sentivano pianissimo, ho dovuto mettere il volume al massimo per "sentire qualcosa", poi ricordando quanto letto nelle recensioni sul web, ho iniziato a provare i "gommini" (ce ne sono di tutte le dimensioni), più di un'ora provando le varie misure fino a quando non ho trovato quelli giusti e allora è cambiato tutto, finalmente la MUSICA come non l'avevo mai sentita, ricordate, i gommini degli auricolari sono molto importanti, bisogna scegliere quelli che più calzano bene al proprio orecchio e la scelta è vasta, lasciate perdere quelli in FOAM molto scomodi. Insomma tutto oggi sono stato con questi gioiellini alle orecchie provandole con tutto ciò che ho per ascoltare musica, dalla scheda audio esterna del PC fino all'ampli del mio impianto HIFI Home, magnifiche sempre. Visto comunque che le ho prese per ascoltare musica in mobilità le ho alla fine collegate all'ampli portatile FiiO A5 con l'x3 ovviamente e non le ho tolte più. Prima di chiudere voglio "sfatare" alcune cose lette in giro: primo, non è vero niente che manca di frequenze basse, anzi, sono presenti ma non invadenti, se qualcuno vuole sentire bassi tipo loudness ci sono anche cuffie da 10 euro, secondo, non hanno bisogno di "rodaggio" parlo per me ovviamente, le cuffiette si sentono una meraviglia fin dall'inizio, basta abbinare il giusto gommino agli auricolari. Chiudo dicendo che questi auricolari valgono più di quanto costano e non hanno nulla da invidiare a quelli più "blasonati" solo per il prezzo "alto", questi auricolari sono delle vere e proprie CUFFIE HI-RES. Le consiglio a tutti quelli che vogliono finalmente ascoltare MUSICA, credo che non le userò solo in mobilità :)

These look the part, beautiful packaging, with an immense amount of tips and a robust carry case. Unfortunately I almost returned them as I couldn’t get them to fit, admittedly I was 4 pints and a bottle of red to the good at the time. However sobered up I thought I’d give them one more go before submitting the return, the difference once I could see what I was doing was mind blowing. Off came the foam tips, a bit of experimenting with the silicon ones and hey presto, I had rich sounding music filling my lug holes. They slide in easily, a bit of a twist to secure them and they sat in place as steady as a rock, with no resetting required. The sound they produce for the price point is superb, highs are bright and clean, with the mids front and centre and bass where it is present is obvious but not to the point where it is detrimental to the song being played. There is no bleeding between the three and the buds present a crisp, clear sound. Obviously what you listen to through them will make all the difference, I subscribe to Tidal HiFi and the reproduction is top notch, I did also try them on Apple Music and the experience was not as good, despite Tidal not having an inbuilt eq, the sound was fantastic, Apple was plain poor with eq set as off and with equally as poor with various eq setting’s applied, no vibrancy, flat and muddy sounding with obvious compression and bleeding between the highs, mids and lows but what I might like and what you might like could well differ but these via Tidal hit the spot for me. As regards robustness, time well tell but if and when they do go, a replacement pair won’t break the bank, give them a try and you can thank me later. EDIT: After all that I ended up having to return them due to the inline control not working with my iPhone, unfortunately it’s not just with my pair as other reviews mention the same issue, if it’s something you can live without they still sound great, however at the price paid for them I’d expect them to be in full working order and I wonder could less attention was paid to the packaging and more to the quality of the product.

Year 4 UPDATE: These headphones have been great over the last 4 years. I have had no issues with cables coming loose or any separation on the housing of the drivers. To be fair I have always kept it in its case whether at home or travelling anywhere. As for the sound after 4 years - yes there is a V shape sound to these headphones which work great for casual listening and especially anywhere outside of a quiet space. The bass is still soo good! Not too much and just enough beef to come through when outside of a quiet space. I have replaced the tips the headphones came with to comply foams which have been great. If you have used them before then you know - only addition or change I have made to these headphones. Lastly what I have come to appreciate about these headphones are the little things. The skinny jack that slots in anywhere to the skinny cables that are feather light and do not get in the way to the amazing case which looks as new as the first day I bought it. I would buy these again in a heart beat. As stated in the original review below, definitely try them out first before committing to them. They may not be to everyone's taste (not reference or monitor headphones) but I think for most people this will be a great buy! ===================== 2019 Review: Bought these headphones for the depth of the bass and clarity in vocals. The thump is solid and thanks to the separate drivers it doesn't muddle up the mids or highs. Simultaneously the bass is tight and doesn't bleed into the rest of the band. And for these factors alone it is worth it at this price. More details: - The sound signature is not neutral. Personally it is more bright and has its own style, so definitely try it out first (I cannot put a finger on it so please excuse the poor explanation). Personally it took some adjusting to get comfortable but it has since grown on me and I use it regularly now. I think it works well for people travelling with lots of ambient noise so you can hear the vocals and bass regardless of what is happening around you. Which works great for coffee shops, trains, buses etc... - The build is great! I do keep it in its case when not in use and after almost a year it has held up well. - Get a good seal! If you have worn in-ear headphones then you already know this. I would recommend comply tips if you notice these slipping out. Cannot stress this enough, these headphones come alive only when you have a good seal. The little things that have a big impact! - The 3.5mm jack is skinny which is great to connect to my phone with it's case on or any device with little room. - The mic/volume control does feel cheap, but on the flip side it is feather light which is great since it does not tug or get in the way. - The case is a hard-box with a magnetic cover - has held up really well and I am able to throw into my bag without worrying it will get crushed. Personally think my headphones have held up so well for this one reason. Overall would definitely recommend!
