I purchased two of these for my office. It made things much easier with hooking up computers to the test bench and also gaming consoles to my desk. This is one of the only desktop mount power strips with USB and Ethernet at a modest price. The only thing that is missing is surge protection.The desk clamps have two screw holes to use. By default, these clamps will fit desks that are 2" thick. Mine is 1.25" so I had to forego one of the screw holes to narrow the clamp gap in order for it to fit.The product did seem a bit rickety as the side panels fell off during shipping, but so far, both units are still functioning well. I hope they last a while.

So far, I really like this product, I was able to get it mounted on my desk with some engineering and so far it's working great. For those who are having issues with the screws and you will have issues.. I just removed the gold screws thus opening up access to the 2 inner screws, it was much easier to attach.Also, I have the same issue as others where my desk is pretty thin, so basically what I did was flipped the brackets around and flipped the clamps and then was able to easily get it connected to my desk.Everything works and I would recommend this product.

Returned, doesn’t suit our needs... we have table tops, rather than desks at our office. These surge protectors needed to be shored up with extra pieces of wood and are better suited for desks with thicker tops. Our tables are too thin to secure these units although I think they’d be perfect for most desk situations, hence the high ratings.

Just what I was looking for. Only downside is the brackets are a little big so it was hard to attach to my desk that is attached to the wall and can't be moved easily. Was able to make it work. So much nicer then going under the desk every day or having a power strip just sitting on top of the desk. I'm still able to plug in or unplug one handed.

I really didn’t know what to expect. Item is about the same length of a regular sized surge protector, but it is definitely thicker and heavier. Which to me means higher quality. Built great.

Make sure you know the dimensions of your desk and where you will be clamping this bad boy on. I overlooked this, and just thought it was going to fit my desk, but it did not. My desk is almost flush against a wall so it kinda sits behind the desk and the wall not using the clamps. But it is an upgrade to your standard power strip it is heavier and more heavy duty.

We’re using this on a workbench for extra electrical outlets and a place to plug in our Bose portable speaker and cell phones. It’s great that this product includes the USB options, so practical. We chose this over others because the clamps opened wide enough to go around our almost 2 inch worktop. It’s perfect on the back of the bench, the design and size is such that it doesn’t take up too much workspace.

I have only had this product for a little while but so far it seems to be working as advertised. The only issue that I have had about this product is cord length. It would be nice if the cord was a little longer.

Bought this because I was fed up crawling around under my desk. It took seconds to install and it’s very sturdily clamped to the desk (an Ikea Bekant, so not overly thick, if that helps). The sockets are upside down from what you’d expect, but I haven’t found that to be a problem.
