Definitely impressed. And a fun album.
Before I begin, I have to say this is far different from MCR styled stuff, it's more glam rock... So therefore, do not get this cd if so. Anyhow, Gee's influences really came out on this cd. The cd is really Gerard. I am really impressed with the cd. (:The Bureau~ I didn't care for the intro much. 7/10Action Cat~ One of my favorites. (: Very catchy, and it's fun to...well...get up and dance along to. xD 9.5/10No Shows~ I definitely love this one, this is another good one to get up and dance around to, as well. 9/10Brother~ Another one of my favorites, it's an amazing song. (Didn't anyone else notice how the piano riff sounded like I'm Not Okay??? :P) It's also kind of a saddening song, in my opinion, considering it is about Mikey. But I love sad songs so y'know. 10/10Millions~ I love this song, but not really not one of my favorites. Pretty catchy song. 8/10Zero Zero~ Pretty good considering that the song is a demo. I like it. 10/10Juarez~ Definitely not one of my favorites. I really do not care for this song... 6/10Drugstore Perfume~ Pretty good song. But not my favorite. 7/10Get The Gang Together~ Really catchy, one of my favorites. 10/10How It's Going To Be~ My all time favorite song on this album, for sure! I don't understand why. But I just do! 10/10Maya The Psychic~ I like this song, it's catchy, and good. 8/10Overall, this album is pretty good. I recommend it if you like glam rock stuff. :P OH, I also love how it comes with a free poster, as well. (: It's hangin' on my wall. :P

Unique Album, Amazing on Vinyl
I first purchased Hesitant Alien in the CD format when it was first released. To be completely honest, I was very indifferent towards it at first, I didn't hate it but I didn't love it either. The more I listened to it, the more it grew on me. Over time, this has become one of my favorite albums that I have ever heard. This album is truly a masterpiece, it is definitely something unexpected from Gerard, but it is a perfect display of his talent and his vision for his music. I recently decided that I wanted to add the vinyl to my collection. I wasn't sure how it would sound in the vinyl format, but it sounds absolutely perfect. The vinyl really helps to bring out the richness of the tones on the record. If you have ever heard it, you probably know that this album has a very fuzzy sound to it, and that fuzziness makes this album spectacular on vinyl. The vinyl itself is a standard black 180 gram pressing. The cover artwork is different on the vinyl, (I think it is an illustration that Gerard drew), and it also includes an insert with the lyrics. An online download card is included with the record, so you don't have to go out and buy the CD if you don't want to. Overall, this is an incredible album, and I highly recommend checking it out on vinyl.

Playing on Replay
I honestly don't know what to say other than "wow".Having listened to MCR growing up, I got this album and Stomachaches, Frank Iero's album, at the same time last night, out of curiosity about their new sounds. While Frank has a new sound that completely pleasantly surprised me, Gerard's new sound is different from that. It feels familiar, carrying some of the same vibes as my favorite Danger Days songs, but it's so new and different at the same time. It's like if My Chemical Romance had an older, more mature brother who decided to dabble in lots of different rock styles instead of sticking to one. It doesn't feel like it's selling out to get more fans, or that it's an attempt to become a mainstream album for the radio. It just feels like Gerard, and it's done beautifully.I can't even find a song that stands out as my favorite song. They just all sound so great, making up an album that is so worth the cost. It's definitely one of those albums that you can click play on, and not even realize you burned through the whole thing until the last few notes of the last song. And then you click replay and listen all over again.

Great album
Great album! As a big MCR fan, I’m disappointed at myself for taking so long to hear this.
