More than your monies worth.
Exactly as i stated above, this knife is well worth the price. Great quality materials and craftsmanship. The leather handle (yes, it is leather) is not only great looking but incredibly comfortable. Good weight. Not too heavy, but not too light. Well balanced. Out of the tons of knives i have and have had over the year, this has been my favorite. If you are on the fence, buy it. You will not regret it.

wicked
I just received my order today. This looks almost exactly like a kbar knife, but it was half the price. I don't think the sheath will last very long, but I'm sure the knife will. With this knife by your side u will fear no man or animal, its that tough.

Very similar to K-Bar
Nice knife, and was given as a gift. Can't beat the quality for the price, and this even comes with a leather sheath! Person who received it LOVES it, and he constantly talks about how much he loves it. If you need a big knife...

Irregularities; Dull; Smells funny; Broke
I bought one of these from another website last year. I liked the grip on it. It fit my hand perfectly. So, I ordered another of the same make/model, here. The newer one has a shorter handle on it! I can't get a comfortable grip on it because the pummel interferes. How can it be the same make/model, but have a shorter handle?! You can see in the pics of how much shorter the handle is on the newest knife. You can also see how far I sharpened down the blade on the first one I bought. I have been trying to sharpen it for the past nine months. I cannot get it sharp. With an magnifier, I can see there is a fine edge, but when I run my finger on it, it's dull like a butter knife. I spent a good amount of money on a belt sharpener, and diamond stones. I just can't get it sharp to where I can say, "I better watch out... don't want to cut myself." It could chop though. I used it to cut right through half inch vines growing up a tree. One whack and it cut cleanly through. Can't get it to slice anything though. The newer knife is dull right out of the box. It will need sharpened. The sheath (and knife) smells musty like it sat in a wet basement for 20 years. With all the money I spent on sharpening gadgets, I could've just bought a brand name Ka-Bar knife.UPDATE:The first MT-122 that fit my hand so well, and I spent countless hours trying to get sharp enough to slice, broke. I was using it to chop through more vines growing up the trunk of a tree, and after a few whacks the tang broke (see last two pics). This MTech USA MT-122 knife turned out to be absolute scrap. I know it was inexpensive, but in reality it wasn't worth a dime.

Poor Quality
I thought for sure this M-tech Knife would be better due to its higher price and Different company compared to BUd K's USMC knife with sheath. Turns out, Its a Poor quality knife. The finger guard is Loose, The End cap is Loose, Makes the blade Wiggle, the handle is small, the Steel is poor and doesnt keep and edge, about the only thing you get thats decent is the Sheath. which is Leather, But i would Prefer Nylon.I would have been better off buying Bud K's USMC knife, Or another copy i mean, You see i bought both USMC knife with sheath and M-techs knife, Back to back, and IN comparison the budk knife is The best knife ive seen yet. This knife is Awful and i do not reccomend it. Buy the USMC knife With sheath and See what im talking about, for only 10.99 you will be glad you did.UPDATE 11/4/2013Broke when dropped back last summer. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.

Good deal for the price
The overall size of this knife is just right and it's blade to handle ratio makes this knife very ballanced. I took one stare away because the handle gaurd was a bit loose, this was an easy fix with a couple drops of superglue. The handle looks to be made of leather rings other than the black rings look like plastic, i was able to rub in four coats of leather boot oil witch the handle absorbed nicely. The weight is very nice, about 1lb. the blade is 440 steal and thick across the top side, the cutting edge came semi sharp but about a hour with a wet-stone and it had a very sharp edge. The sheath looks to be man-made leather, it fits the knife well and should protect the blade. Over all, for 18 bucks your getting a good knife/sheath. This is not a 60-100 dollar survival knife in any way but for casual camping, metal detecting, and basic outdoor use this will make a fine knife to have with you.
