I have used Henna for about 20 years…What the package doesn’t tell you is this: YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO DYE YOUR HAIR EVER AGAIN!!! Yep, you heard it from me first!! After using Henna for all these years I decided I wanted to switch things up and change my color. Not only will no stylist attempt to dye it stating that my hair could melt off..when I finally DID find someone to attempt it (I paid hundred of dollars as I wanted to go back to my natural color and add grey highlights to blend in with the grey that is growing) the color washed out and I’m back to where I started!!! So before you decide to use Henna, know that you will never be able to go back to conventional hair dye.

I like henna because it's non-toxic, but I find that no color I've tried gives me the auburn I want. Persian Burgundy gives me chestnut brown. If I want auburn I'm going to have to mix this with something redder.
