2018 just got better
Does what it's intended for, I have 2a/2b hair type, fine and very long. It took almost no time to dry and straighten my hair. I didn't use any product such as hair straightening spray. It took all the curls/waves away. Still frizzy because that's just my hair type. The same results I'd get from a flat iron. I haven't used a flat iron or a blow dryer on my hair in nearly 2 year's.. due to the damage it brings and me being lazy. Mostly the first reason, this was insanely quick and believe it or not it dried and straightened my hair in less than 20 minutes. No extra hot hair feeling, no burning smell. It is very large and clunky, friends laughed at it. It's a new device so not many people have seen it. I first saw this in a video review a month ago.. didn't really pay attention. Just thought another overpriced damaging hair dryer at a ridiculous price. I thought "who'd be crazy enough to buy that, what's wrong with some women." 🤗 ops!!!! Than I saw it again and was like oh it's also a straightening + drying and less damaging sucks instead of blows 🤔This is worth every penny and made well. No regrets as long as it lasts. Also none of my hair fell out or got caught (prone to tangle's) all kinds of different settings..i was able to use the lowest heat setting on number 2.I got lucky seeing this randomly, I'm not up on the latest tools and treatment's for hair. This would be a great gift for any woman who's into hair (so most women).

This thing is magic!
First, the caveats:1) It's big. It's big and it takes up a lot of space for its size, because of the hose.2) It's loud. This is not a hair blower. It's a vacuum. And it's not your standard issue Hoover, it's a shop vac. However! So, I have a ton of hair. All the hair. If I towel it dry and add some product and let it air dry, it can take over 5 hours to dry. I don't know how long it takes to blow dry, because I don't have that kind of patience. Well, RevAir got my hair, except for the roots in the mohawk zone, completely dry in less than 15 minutes. And several of those minutes were because I'm epically bad at sectioning my hair.My hair was dry, and it was straight and soft, even the grays. I still used the steam iron on it, but I really don't think it needed it.On top of all that, because I got tired of having wet hair all the time, I started only washing my hair once a week about a year ago. It doesn't really get stinky or anything, but, because it's very damaged, it starts to feel very hard and tangly by Wednesday at the latest (I wash on Saturday). Working out twice a day, with all the attendant sweating and tight ponytails, doesn't help. Well, it's Wednesday night and my hair is still very soft and straight, even the grays. I have been adding oil every day, which I usually don't do, but only because it doesn't help. Some of it might be because it's currently fire season here in SoCal, but it was fire season last week when I didn't have the RevAir, and my hair still sucked by Wednesday. On top of all this, I emailed the company with questions (I always have questions) and suggestions (I always have suggestions). They responded in just a couple of hours in a way that made it clear that they actually read my email. I'm sure we all know how rare that is.I have both Dyson hair tools and I wish I had saved my money and just bought the RevAir.

Great for natural hair!!!
I love this machine. I LOVE IT!!!I have 3c/4a hair and and the Revair worked WONDERS. I wanted something that was low manipulation and this is it! I used the low and high heat settings combined for about 90 seconds, and I used the 5/6 tension setting. It took me about an hour because I used really small sections but it came out a lot straighter by doing that. My roots also came out very straight My hair came out so smooth and way straighter than when I've gotten it done at the salon. My hair felt moisturized and not all dried out like when I have used a regular blow dryer. This product is a god send and I recommend anyone looking for a healthier hair alternative to try this out. I know it is not cheap but the money I will save by not going to the salon is worth it!! This product is very high quality, and well worth it. When I registered it on their site they sent me an email containing information and offered support and advice on how to use this.Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

It works!
Update* Jan 3 2019- I am still obsessed with this dryer! Works just as well as the first day I got it, I have even cut down my drying time even more now that I'm used to it. I still have to flat iron my hair a little bit because my ends we're already severely damaged from bleach. I flat iron my ends to smooth those and that takes me about 5 minutes. The hair drying takes me about 8 minutes now. I highly highly recommend this dryer!I was so skeptical that this would work. But it does!I am so impressed with this. I have super curly hair, not coily hair tho. It goes to about mid-back. This blow dry my hair and straightened it within 15 minutes. Normally blow drying my hair takes 45 minutes and straightening takes an hour. I started off with sectioning my hair like I would if I was going to straighten it. I turned it on the level that I like 5 and I had mine at heat setting 2, which was not hot. Mine took about a minute each section. my hair is incredibly soft and smooth all my flyaway hairs that I normally have when I straighten my hair, are not there. It flattened them!Cons:it's kinda heavy when your on the top sections. The noise is so loud, its a good thing it only takes 15 mins.Overall I highly recommend this.
