Great sock for the money
Light weight sock that is great for dress shoes and boots. The merino wool blend does a great job wicking the moisture from my feet and it almost completely eliminates odor. Since switching to these socks, I don’t smell anything when I take off my shoes and socks.Caution: Read the fine print! Danish Endurance recommends line or air drying their wool socks. And they are correct to do so They are a touch small to begin with and when I accidentally put them in the dryer, they shrunk quite a bit more. Problem solved after another wash when I could stretch them out while wet and line dry, but still a pain.

Excellent quality for comfortable price
I've read at plenty of places that Merino wool blend socks are better for my feet. I work delivery and I wear my shoes up to 12 hours a day non-stop. And my feet does sweat. I previously bought some other Merino wool socks from other sources, and when I found these on Amazon, which comes out to be the same price when you include shipping, I had to try them. And they are good.I ordered the largest size which fits my feet. The socks look really tight, and they are thin dress socks. They wear just fine. The texture was really soft. And they did keep my feet dry during the day (which I found to my dismay when I had to go a day without socks, and it was not a pleasant feel) better than the cotton blend crew socks I wear earlier. After I am done with the socks in the day, they are MUCH MUCH wider (I have very tall feet). There is very little elasticity. However, after a wash and dry, they are back to normal size. So it's not a problem, just a bit... weird. All in all, these merino wool blend socks are good value, not TOO much more than the cotton socks. If you want thicker socks, these are not it, but they are light weight yet very absorbant socks.

Good Quality, But...
Apparently, when I placed my order for these DANISH ENDURANCE Merino Wool Dress Socks (in black), I somehow selected "2" quantity, so I now have six pair of these socks. This is my honest review, and just my opinion:The socks appear to be high quality with a nice weave. The fabric is woven tightly, so the socks have a smoothe, clean look to them, with no "fuzzies" visible (I'm not saying the socks are tight on your leg!) When you put them on, they don't stretch to where you can see through the fabric to your skin. They continue to look like pitch-black socks. So good. I wear a US size 12 shoe, and these seem to fit nicely heel to toe.I've deducted a star, but should say it's not really about quality. They are good socks, but they are "thin" socks. There is NO additional cushion in the toe or heel sections. They're one thickness end-to-end, and they're thin. I think they would be perfect as sock liners when you're layering up for trekking in boots. Unfortunately, I spend at least 5 days a week in dress slacks and business shoes, and was looking for something with a little more in the heel and toe area. I plan to look at the same brand to see if they have something thicker in dress socks.I'm yammering, so to sum it up! They're GOOD quality socks! They breathe well, and they LOOK good. Not too short, not too tall. And I'm not seeing ANY lint or dog hair on them! (I have a husky). I'll keep 'em for now and look for something thicker. If you're looking for a well-made thin, breathable summer/fall sock, this is your sock! Look no further.

Best Socks Ever.
These are exactly what I've been looking for. Not too tight. Not too tall. Plain black. Adequate wool content. Basic black socks. I'm thinking about buying a lifetime supply.

Massive Shrinkage
The feel of the sock is great, however, they shrank so much in the wash that they barely fit now.Allow for the shrinkage when you pick a size.

Bad quality
Those socks seemed very comfortable and great quality. But after I washed them 2 times they began to fluff and all of the wool came off. I cannot recommend them.

Lightweight summer work sock
Perfect sock for working in during the summer! Moisture wick, no smell, tough, not hot. I work at a garden nursery and wore these all summer and my feet never complained of hot.

New version is worse
I bought 6 pairs in 2019 and they were great. Now I just restocked and the new versions are not nearly as good. They are thinner and my feet are sweating puddles vs the older version that actually breath. Seems like they have changed the composition with much less Marino vs spandex or other synthetics. If you are looking for a thin, warm dress sock this is probably ok. If you are looking for dress socks that breath, durable and look good, I would give these a miss.

Comfy, hygienic and durable
I switched from cotton to bamboo socks many years ago. About 5 years ago I got a merino wool shirt that I loved so much I thought I would try merino wool socks and undies too. Now 5 years later I am so glad I did. I find these socks just as comfy and hygienic (don't get stinky) as bamboo (I can literally wear the same pair of sock socks for weeks and they don't get stinky), but the merino wool is a lot more durable. My bamboo socks generally would last a year or two, but have yet to wear out any of my Danish Endurance merino wool socks that I bought 5 years ago. They are a bit pricey, but worth it.
