Enjoyed by kids and adults alike.
I bought this as a family game we could play together. My daughter just turned 4, but she learned how to play it and at day 3, she won her first game fair and square. It comes with different themes: usual suspects (the old set of people), animals, monsters, kids, household items and funny faces. My daughter enjoys them all, but some are a bit more difficult. When the adults only are playing, we enjoy a more difficult two character game, in which we choose 2 characters instead of just one.It is electronic. When the adults play we don't even switch it on, but when my daughter plays, she loves to press the buttons as her answers.Seriously, I can't really find something I don't like in it. I think the old version got boring quickly, this one is way better, and even challenging fo the adults if played with two characters each player.

Great family game
Bought this for my 6 year old and it has been a big hit. It is easy to set up and quick to play - even her older brothers have had the odd game! The different character cards give the game good variety and keep it interesting. You can play the game without electronic sounds and timer so batteries not essential which is definitely a plus point but it adds a bit of extra fun to have noises. Highly recommend this game and Amazon as usual had great price and quick delivery.

A must for Guess Who addicts!
Having been through several sets of Guess Who games with my (now) 6 year old son, the appeal of this newer version was no more lost cards, no snapped bits of plastic, and no characters falling out when you "flip" them down to start a new game. And is has to be said, this version achieves that very well - it's one piece (plus character cards, which include the complete set for a given game), so it's easy to store and reasonably sturdy. The one downside of having it in this way is that you are restricted to using a maximum of two characters each per game, and my son was already playing games with 3 or four cards beforehand, which restricts the challenge somewhat. What you do get is different sets of characters, which adds a bit of variety in terms of what questions to ask.To the reviewer claiming "all the fun" has been taken away, what are you talking about? It even includes the same characters, and can be played *exactly* as in the original version. Yes, this one has a few flashing lights and noises which are rather pointless, but it's still "classic" guess who - not like some of the cheaper copies where the balance of players is distorted. Otherwise, my son would put it straight back on the shelf! They include instructions for some alternative games, but frankly, we've given them a miss thus far :)

Five Year Old Loves it!
We bought this for our little one because she had a little travel version and she enjoyed that we decided to get her a bigger version. I saw this Guess Who Extra on Amazon for only a couple of quid more than the normal version was in the shops so thought we'd give it a go! The old style guess who was one set of people, well you now get about five different sets that you can store inside the game (which is a good idea), there are a couple of people and a monster one and a household object one etc. The age range is from 6+ but my little one is a few months over five and she enjoys playing. I must say she doesn't 100% get the whole idea of it but we team up and help her. If there had been much more than a few pounds between the cost of the normal and the extra version then I would have stuck with the normal version! It doesn't seem that great but my daughter likes to press the yes and no button so the extra version is about a bit of extra fun for her. The game seems quite durable and good, enjoyable family fun. I would recommend the game.

Extends the original
I brought this for my 5 year old as she got bored with the same faces in the old version. Having the choice of a number of different sets of faces/items is great, my daughter loves it. We don't tend to play with the timer as it's to fast for her but can be fun for older kids. It's very well made and haven't had any issues with using it, it also folds away for easy storage.

Fab adaptation of the original!
My brother and I loved the original Guess Who, so Santa brought this for my five year old daughter and she is hooked. Although this game is marketed at 6+, my daughter has grasped the concept quickly and the variety of characters on the various cards change things up a bit. When she gets older we will be able to introduce the timed games, but in the meantime the fun sounds for yes and no are good. This is great for transporting out and about too as the cards are stored inside, and it folds over and clips closed

Great update
My daughter and her friends love this game! We're all familiar with Guess Who, but the update has really added to the fun! There are something like 6 game cards now, which keeps it interesting. The electronic element appeals to the kids. It's a classic game which you can't go wrong purchasing. They all love it. May I suggest Buck a Roo too, that seems to go down well.
