Bodhi Leaf Coffee - Cascara Coffee Fruit Tea (1 LB) Direct Trade, Brewing Instructions Included

This is a good product at a fair price, but I find it to be a bit too tart for my taste. I enjoy the TWIN ENGINE COFFEE much more. It's richer IMO.

This is the second time I've bought cascara, and it's the first time I've bought this particular brand. This stuff is absolutely high quality, and has quite a few servings. I'm not sure exactly how many, but I always use two heaping tablespoons for a 12oz serving (steeped in hot water for 10 minutes, before adding cinnamon, honey and chocolate oat milk), and I've barely put a dent in my stash (I've had 5 servings so far).

Pleasant flavor but I buy because coffee husks are suppose to stimulate the production of Brain Nerve Growth Factor (BNGF). It definitely makes me feel more mental energy, alert and just a general feeling of well being. I steep a couple of heaping spoonful in hot water and drink it like tea once a week. Any more than that and I don't feel anything. So once a week I get a brain boost.

Makes a nice fruity tea using my clam shell tea screen. I sweeten it with a bit of stevia and it's quite good. I've read where coffee fruit is a source of BDNF, Brain Derived Neurotropic Factor, an interesting protein. A pound of this goes a long way as it's quite light weight per volume.

Like coffee beans harvested at different estates, these coffee cherry husks from Costa Rica are different from others I’ve tried. These are fruity, sweet, and delicious.

i really enjoy this cascara.

At first, I hesitated because of the quantity (5 lbs.)) I had to commit to. Don't hesitate! It's great!
