Excellent lightweight protection for Soccer
I wear these during soccer games for ankle and achilles protection. They work great -- highly recommended. I'm on my 4th pair. During a hard soccer tackle, my last pair absorbed a direct kick to the ankle that cracked the plastic plate. The ankle protectors kept me in the game without injury. Well worth the reasonable $10 cost.

Excellent protection while being lightweight.
As a baseball/softball umpire, I am a bit vulnerable at the ankles. I use these guards to protect the space between my plate shoes and my shin guards. They are lightweight, comfortable, and provide an excellent level of protection.

Good option for ankle protection during soccer
Our son where's slid in shin guards for soccer that do not offer ankle protection so I was happy when I found these. Our son is 9 and these fit perfectly. He complains they are a bit bulky and cause a little pressure in areas but it's better than getting kicked in the ankle all game.

Guards Ankle
I spend hours on my knees or sitting cross-legged while practicing yoga, and my ankles used to ache a lot during those sessions. This product is exactly what I needed! It cushions the sensitive area perfectly and has completely eliminated the discomfort I used to feel.I wear it under my socks, and it doesn’t cause any irritation or bulkiness. It stays in place and feels comfortable throughout my practice. Highly recommended for anyone who experiences ankle pain during yoga or similar activities!

Size not specified, Packaging says Large
Perfect if you already have shin guards for soccer but want protection for the ankles too. There was no option for choosing a size, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Since I have 3 kids in soccer of different ages, I figured they would have to fit at least one of them! ...I first put them on my (slender build) 10 year old and they fit a little loose, but will serve the purpose just fine (the soccer shoe will hold them in place well enough). The packaging just said "Large," but I assume that would be either a womans' large or perhaps a Youth Large because I don't think they're big enough for most men. Good quality product, and exactly as described--after they arrived I ordered 2 more pair for his siblings that are slightly larger build. (If they offered difference sizes, I would have order one of them a bit smaller for the 10 year old--but for the price and the quality--they are just fine for all three kids and saves the expense of buying (new) shin guards with ankle guards built in.

They're alright
These ankle guards are alright. There are two things that I don't like about them:1. They slip off my ankles, so when I finish playing soccer and take my boots off, the bottom elastic has come off my heel.2. One of the hard plastic protectors broke… maybe I did get kicked, and it helped me, but no other plastic protector has broken yet.

Great ankle protection for mountain biking
If you mountain bike on trails that have lots of vegetation or rocks, these little slip-on ankle covers are great. They keep stickers and other sticky plants from hitting that tender part of ankles that are exposed with most mountain bike shoes. If you ride in rocky terrain where your front tire kicks up loose rocks right on to your ankles, these give good extra protection. These have two plastic cups that are sewn in on each outer side of the covers. These can be pushed around a little bit to position them as the rider sees fit. These are not ankle supports in my opinion whatsoever. They are ankle protectors, and for that they work quite well.I like these well enough that I ordered a second pair to have when these wear out. Speaking of wearing out, I have nearly a whole year on the first set, and that's with an average of at least 3 rides a week, winter, summer, spring, fall in my area. When I finish the ride, I pull them off and use a bristle brush to brush all the stickers, grass, and seeds off before hanging them up to dry. These covers are stupid little, insignificant looking items, but I have found them to be very good protection to make the ride more comfortable.

These are Effective
These ankle guards are comfortable and protect my child's ankles and quickly teach opponents to stay focused on the ball rather than trying to hurt their opponents.
