An ideal solution,No need for bulky ankle protectors
This is only my second purchase of this item in four years. They serve their role well. They fit easily. They are not intrusive in the slightest, and the flexible semi hard shell protectors within ( that surrounds each ankle inside and out) has prevented any type of injury and reduced or eliminated what would've been a lot of pain.

Perfect for coaching
These are perfect for what I need. I coach and had an accident one season with a play slide tackling into my ankle, I ended up needing surgery over the summer. For fall season, I got these for protection. I’m so glad I did! They are lightweight, comfortable, none restricting, and affordable. I’ve had them for a while now and they are holding up nicely, very durable.

Good option for ankle protection during soccer
Our son where's slid in shin guards for soccer that do not offer ankle protection so I was happy when I found these. Our son is 9 and these fit perfectly. He complains they are a bit bulky and cause a little pressure in areas but it's better than getting kicked in the ankle all game.

Great alternative to FULL shin guards
My daughter (9 years old) hates the full shin guards with ankle protection. So she uses these + the slide in shin guards. Works great. These aren't AS tight which she really likes. And if for some reason she wants to change it up and play without, she can very easily do so. Great alternative for her. Still comfortable and not itchy. Provide plenty of protection around the ankle without getting in the way.

Good support
Bought the was for my soccer player. She has had ankle problems and these seem to help quite a bit keep her ankle from shifting so much when she is playing. She no longer complains after practice or games that her ankle bothers her. They provide the support she needs.

Great ankle protection for mountain biking
If you mountain bike on trails that have lots of vegetation or rocks, these little slip-on ankle covers are great. They keep stickers and other sticky plants from hitting that tender part of ankles that are exposed with most mountain bike shoes. If you ride in rocky terrain where your front tire kicks up loose rocks right on to your ankles, these give good extra protection. These have two plastic cups that are sewn in on each outer side of the covers. These can be pushed around a little bit to position them as the rider sees fit. These are not ankle supports in my opinion whatsoever. They are ankle protectors, and for that they work quite well. I like these well enough that I ordered a second pair to have when these wear out. Speaking of wearing out, I have nearly a whole year on the first set, and that's with an average of at least 3 rides a week, winter, summer, spring, fall in my area. When I finish the ride, I pull them off and use a bristle brush to brush all the stickers, grass, and seeds off before hanging them up to dry. These covers are stupid little, insignificant looking items, but I have found them to be very good protection to make the ride more comfortable.

They're alright
These ankle guards are alright. There are two things that I don't like about them: 1. They slip off my ankles, so when I finish playing soccer and take my boots off, the bottom elastic has come off my heel. 2. One of the hard plastic protectors broke… maybe I did get kicked, and it helped me, but no other plastic protector has broken yet.
