I bought 2 sets of these curtain tie backs. They are really beautiful. I bought a toasted wheat color, and I bought the red, which is a luscious shade of cherry red or leaning to a burgundy but not a deep wine red. They look very elegant. BUT the magnets on the ends are not very strong. I have light drapes upstairs that are the equivalent of or a tad heavier than a sheer and they hold those very well, but if you slip the tie onto the drape and then try to scoot the tie up a bit higher the tie just releases. It isn't a strong magnetic hold. My other room has heavier drapes, and I wasn't sure it would hold them at all...it does, but one strong breeze or hitting the bottom of the heavier drape with the vacuum and they fall off. It's almost as if the metal case on the tips or the chrome painted covering is inhibiting it's holding power. I really like them, and I'm using them, but if you have a heavy drape or drape plus a sheer, or a wider than one panel section that you want to tie back with these, then I don't think these will work. I would sort of recommend as they're really really pretty, but just be aware of the weak magnetic holding power.

Very nice looking. Heavy magnets though. Had to wrap twice but it proved to be fine and shows versatility . I am happy with my purchase.

These I just received today and they look thin and not fancy in the pictures, but when I opened the box they were pretty and thick, not thin like a thin bracelet. These are much nice in person. The magnet works great and they make my curtain set up look elegant.

These were nice and the magnets were strong. They didn't work for me though, because they're too big and slip right down the curtains. If you have several thick curtains to hold back then this could work, but now that I've had these the ones that attach to a wall or you're able to tighten to the appropriate width would work better. I gave these a 3 because they do look good, but just didn't work for my curtains.

These are attractive and doing the job intended. I wouldn't say the magnets are especially 'strong' though. Overall, good for the price.

Beautiful, strong magnets and functional

Purchased for my van to keep really light curtains draped back. Perfect nice sage colour. Really large (see pics) however magnets are poor quality. Knock them slightly and they move.
