Works for what I bought it for. It is not heavy duty, and Could be better made.

This has been a great addition to my dining area. So far I’m only using it to store my Kitchen Aid mixer on top. The drawer is spacious and glides nicely. The open storage area and closed storage below the countertop have ample space. It’s also nice looking.

When this product arrived, the box was wet (rainy day) and damaged, and sat outside my front door (covered) for probably 6 hours until I got home. I assumed the pieces would be ruined, but amazingly, not a scratch nor a warp! My fiance put it together in about 45-50 minutes and said it was not difficult at all (I have no clue how much of the instructions he used- lol). The piece is BEAUTIFUL! I am so pleased for the price point! It does exactly what I purchased it for... holds many items, including 2 medium sized appliances, so I have some of my counter space back. Plus, it looks super cute and adds to the coziness that is my home. I gave this 4 stars because that's where I always start... it's too easy to say you like something and give it 5. I only ever read the 4's, 3's, and 2's. Maybe there's another "me" out there.

Very time consuming setup. Included Phillips screwdriver is a joke, get yourself a ratcheting screwdriver. Three different pieces labeled N, and one piece that had 4 different part numbers stuck to it. Got it done eventually, serving its purpose.

The island is exactly as pictured. It is easy to assemble and the instructions are clear. I used a power screw driver to assemble because the tool that is included is small. It is stylish and sturdy.
