Great model but requires work!
You have to paint and put together. It takes a long time and a lot of work! Once it is finished it is really great! My students LOVED looking at it and learning about the tabernacle. You will need to buy paint.

Good kit - especially for classroom
Very good kit for use in classroom, either youth or adult. Relatively easy to assemble with good detail and instructions. Built this myself for use in my high school bible class at church. Having a physical visual aid like this helps the students understand. Would recommend it.

Glad I bought it, you will be too
I really liked this model kit. It is very detailed and pretty accurate. We are a homeschool family and we're going to build our own model but I quickly realized it was silly for me to try to work out all the details and scale it down on my own so I bought this kit.It was easy to put together and had the correct number of pieces (with a couple extra) in the box which I verified right away. It was easy for the kids to assemble. I helped because I enjoy that sort of thing, but the 10 and 9 year old could have done it alone. My 7 year old could have done it with some help. It took us only a couple of hours, with much Bible cross referencing. We will paint the characters and do some other minor detailing but it's pretty good as is. I like that it came with all the furniture and had lots of detailed accessories (tablets, Aaron's staff, jar of manna, show bread ,etc). The only complaints I have are:the mercy seat is not very attractive, it's strange looking and hard to even tell what it is.The ark of the covenant had a broken pole. I attempted to super glue it back on, but that didn't work. The 2 curtains for the holy place and the holy of holies and the screen for the courtyard are actually like a paper material which is just a bit of a let down and also that makes it a bit tough to attach. In all it was a good buy, a tad on the spendy side, but overall worth it.

Great Kit, Fun Construction!
This plastic model kit that is very detailed and takes some skill to assemble. It included a high priest, 3 priests, a jar of manna, Aaron’s budded staff, the ten commandments stone, 3 sheep, 8 stands, an ark of the covenant, 3 lambs, 2 cows, a bread table, the altar of incense, the lamp stand, 2 breads, the altar of burnt offering, and a tree. The Tabernacle is built using posts and several layers of fabric representing the actual coverings used.We used some flexstone spray paint to paint the base so it looked like the ground. We bought others paints (gold, brown, silver, etc) so we could paint the other pieces as nothing comes painted.Metallic bronze, metallic gold, metallic silver and also matte colors for the cattle, for the beards of the Levitical priests, metallic blue for the High Priest, and other colors. The ark that was included with the set was not very good so we bought the following off of ebay to use.It will have it's base removed and the "carrying handles" removed. The Ark of the Covenant Gold Plated Table Top Mini - 2" X 1.50" X 1.10" We filed off the handles and removed the base so that we could fit it in the Most Holy Place.

Missing parts, some parts bowed.
As a teaching aid the product is good. It took me two hours to assemble. Problem is they did not send all of the parts. I am missing the coverings for the Holy Place. Could not figure out how to reach seller. A lot of the pieces were bowed causing the Holy Place not to fit together well, but I did get it together. Fence went up nicely. Base was scuffed in places, almost like someone used this, returned it, and they sent it to me as new. Over all, as a teaching aid maybe 3/5, but as a model, 1/5 as it is not all there.

Beautiful
I bought this for our VBS this summer (2019) and I love it. It is very accurate. Is easy to assemble but for adults, not for childrens because some of the pieces are very small. The priest and High Priest and the animals, came white (without color so you have to paint all of those) I recommend to use a good quality paint because mine start fading. I definitely recommend you to bought this. Very well done. Good material. Looks really nice.

Fun to make, fun to teach with
I like making miniatures, so this was fun to put together. The parts fit accurately together. The only hiccup was that the little gold-toned hooks did not stay in the holes on their own, so I just put a dab of glue on each one as I plugged them into their holes. The scale is very close to the popular HO scale for miniature trains, so if you want additional animals, look for them in HO scale. I was able to find additional sheep and goats (handy for teaching sacrifices and Yom Kippur). For storage and safekeeping, I put the assembled tabernacle in a 6"-high storage bin, the kind that is designed for under-the-bed storage. After all that work, it would be a shame to get it damaged!Note of caution: If you let preschool children play with the assembled model, they will probably damage it. I have let preschool children play with the animals and furniture without problems because they are made of painted plastic and then shellacked. Elementary kids do fine with the assembled tabernacle though.
