🎶 Elevate your audio experience wherever you go!
Product Description The uDAC3 Digital to Analogue Converter (DAC) and combined headphone amplifier significantly upgrades any computer's sound output. It simply connects to the computers USB port and extracts every last nuance and detail from your digital music collection.Small enough to fit in your pocket, but packing the serious earphone power required to produce the extra bass and volume in the noisiest of environments, the uDAC3 helps you to enjoy perfect sound from your laptop wherever you are. The uDAC3 uses USB for the audio connection, bypassing your laptop's soundcard and earphone output. It then processes your digital music directly - giving you much better sound than is possible from your laptops earphone output. The uDAC3 is perfect for use at home as well as when you're out and about. Unusually for an ultra-portable DAC, it has both analogue and digital output connections - in addition to the earphone amplifier - so you can connect it to your amplifier and speakers at home or in the studio. The uDAC3 is not just for music lovers; if you're a gamer you will experience a more accurate and realistic sound track, and you'll hear subtle audio cues that others won't, therefore increasing your performance and enjoyment. Musicians, producers and DJ's can use the uDAC3 as an ultra-portable monitoring solution enabling them to work anywhere with ultimate precision. If you use Skype, YouTube, watch movies or use online music services (like Spotify or Pandora) the uDAC3 provides you with the perfect audio accompaniment. Highly recommended
Really pleased with this DAC. I have had another NuForce amp for a couple of years to output music from my TV through large speakers and it has been brilliant. So when I saw these on a Lightning Deal I went for one (and discovered they had previously been even cheaper, albeit very briefly).I have to say I am very impressed with the clarity and depth of sound. Music through my P7 B&W headphones from a MacBook Pro, switching between the normal 3.5mm socket and the DAC is immediately noticeable, even to my rubbish hearing. The unit is tiny but solid and well made. I haven't yet tried the Co-ax or analogue RCA's through my hifi but I have no doubt they will be equally impressive and immersive.Sadly, as advertised, it does not pick up a signal from my Android device (unlike other DAC's which can!) but for getting SACD quality sound from a PC/Mac I can highly recommend it.This is not a paid for review btw.

Fantastic sound quality, but build quality not up to the same standard
For sound quality it's brilliant, I plugged my Sennheiser Momentum's in and now I have a new appreciation for how good they are. This little box of wonders is fantastic, it's small and easily tucks away. But...... i've had it for just over 4 weeks now and i plugged the usb micro cable into the back of it and the port popped through into the box and is now rattling around inside making it unusable and broken. The build quality needs to be stepped up and I'll be asking for a refund and maybe trying it again because the sound that it made was fantastic

Great little DAC but fatal flaw in build quality that renders it useless.
I bought this on a whim when the price fell sharply for some reason.I was pleasantly surprised at the small size of the device and the music quality that it produced. However I only used it a handful of times and recently the USB input to the device that connects it to a laptop/PC broke off.It was definitely not through misuse and now the input port is rattling inside the device and it is rendered useless.Worst is that it has only passed the returns window by to weeks. So in the long run it has been costly device that was used a few times and it now useless.I saw another review on here which showed that this is a common problem.USB input is the only weak part of the overall design but it is a fatal flaw.Avoid buying unless you cover yourself with an extended warranty!!

A must if you listen to digital music with headphones.
This is a superb piece of equipment being small, easy to use and fantastically enjoyable to listen to. I have used it almost daily with my Mac and a lossless streaming service and paired with B&O H6 it makes me smile every time I use it. In direct comparison with other, much more expensive, headphone amp/dac combinations it also holds its head up high and easily performs at a level above it's price point.

excellent sound quality
Very high quality dac/amp, excellent sound quality, great build quality, I also own a very expensive headphone amp I've had for years and it's on the same level as that, great value, will improve the sound hugely if you have a crappy sound card, no brainer just pick it up, i'm using it every day, very sweet.

For audiophiles to plug & enjoy right out of the box!
A very good little DAC serving as headphone amplifiers on the job. It is solidly built of aluminum and works flawlessly. Just plug it in and enjoy. I bought it because I experienced bass in my headphones that was so thin and tinny, especially from my PC. Using this, there is more pressure in the base and the sound is so much clearer and full. I haven't bought anything like this before, but the sound quality seems lossless, rich and gorgeous. The unit itself seems very well made, and in comparison to other devices in this genre, it's well priced. I would possibly say it is an entry to mid level device, and perfect for audiophiles with a decent pair of headphones.

Incompatible
