Cardcaptor Sakura Movie 2: The Sealed Card [Blu-ray]

This movie was my first glimpse into the world of Cardcaptor Sakura. It captured me faster than a Clow Card!!!!I had never seen the dubbed version on American TV so I had no preconcived notion as to how the characters should sound and I found them delightful, especially Tomoyo (she appeals to the bookworm in me). Having now watched the anime in Japanese I find that the english pronunciation of names is fairly accurate and the dialogue is well translated.Though I'm sure it is confusing to fans of Cardcaptors, the 'english' personalities of the characters are more in line with their Japanese counterparts from the original anime and the manga. They are supportive of each other and set a great example for kids (the movie is rated PG though so you may want to screen it beforehand) but at the same time they are complex enough to be enjoyed by adults.I recomend this movie to anyone, period.~Aldalote~

In the second to last episode of the series Syaoran finally sums up the nerve to admits his crush on Sakura. This movie follows Sakura summing up the courage to confess her feelings in return amidst the conflict of the long lost sealed card trying to steal all the Clow cards from her. How can she hope to find the words to voice her feelings in time to keep the Nothing from reducing all she knows and loves to a fleeting memory?

It came to me very quickly! It was nicely sealed up still. I am planning to give this copy to my little sister. I found the edition of this movie I had been looking for. This is one movie I have seen over and over again. I love Sakura and Syaoran together. Its a must have for anyone who loves this series.

Finally, all the Clow Cards have been transformed into Sakura Cards, Eriol is back in England and Shaoran in Honk Kong. Back in Tokyo, Tomoyo still films Sakura's awesome powers (and makes sure to create cute little outfits for her as well). Everything seems to be okay until, one day, the house where Eriol used to live in is demolished to build a Theme Park.The Void Card is now free and willing to do anything in order to get all it's friends back. Now, Sakura must fight against a Card which is immune to any kind of spell she or her guardians can use. Will Sakura capture this card before it swallows all her friends and the whole city? Can she tell Shaoran how she truly feels before his feelings are erased by the Void card's power?

Syaoran has always been my favorite anime/manga character ever since the first day I set eyes on him... and up until today, that still hasn't changed. So one of the reasons why I purchased the special DVD version of the second CCS movie (I already had 2 VHS copies and another DVD version), was because I love it so much! Syaoran is as cute as ever and I specially like his action sequence and the decision he makes near the end. His acting has improved quite a lot since episodes 41-42 of the TV series (anyone remember Syaoran as princess Aurora? ^_~)The animation is very good too and the BGMs know exactly when to hit. My only complaints on the movie was the fact that it seems to be 5 seconds short or something. It does finish like that, but it leaves the fans a bit disappointed, since I'm sure we all would like to see the next few seconds (and perhaps more! ^_^) after its ending.That was the other reason why I bought this special version, after all, it does say on the extras that it includes additional NINE minutes. Well, I'm yet to find those! So either I don't know how to handle DVDs yet or this was just some sort of lie to get us to buy this!Don't be fooled... there are no 9 extra minutes (at least not that I have found).But if you haven't seen this movie yet, BUY IT anyway... it's oen of the best anime movies I've ever seen!And then you might start understanding why I love Syaoran-sama this much! ^_~

I was so happy to come home after work on Friday to find that this lovely dvd was by my front door. I happily ripped it open and put it straight on. I flipped through the art book and adore the semi transparent pencil board. The dub was a lot better than expected, although it take a bit of adjusting at the beginning of the film for me to appreciate the voice acting. (I have been listen to the Japanese voices for so long it was a bit odd.)The whole thing was amazing and the movie had me clutching at my pillow the whole way through.

I normally son’t write review as it takes time to donit but this one deserved it! If you’re a Cardcaptor Sakura fan from the 90s, this movie is a must see! It’s way better than the first movie and this surely gives you the continuation of what happened after their grand finale. Go ahead and purchase this one, it would be worth your time!

I have been watching cardcaptors right here in the UK & I have already own the first cardcaptor film, when I have discovered that there is a second cardcaptor film I want to get my hands on the film. I have thought that the film is going to be release right here in the UK but it isn't, I don't know why it is not released here in the UK & I have been very disapointing including a friend of mine who also want to own this dvd.When I have found the dvd in amazon & bought it I watched it and it was the best film ever because it not just have adventure but it also have a good drama & a good love story because some young people who are 13 year and over are also have a difficult time expressing their feelings to the people they care about because you don't know if you like the person or not and what problems will come onthe way, this is a-must-have film and it arrived just in time but I still don't know why it is not released here in the UK.If anybody is looking for any Region 1 dvd's like cardcaptors 2: the sealed card I definatly recommened this website to everyone
